Nice incisive comment.....This guy is (imo of course) our most committed and grounded player. He loves the club, fans, area etc, by rights he should be our club captain. All of this is no indictment on him, but what is sadly (at the minute) a joke of an organisation.

The Profitable Group are probably chancers. It all just doesn't add up, non-disclosure agreements etc. I know people have been saying that they don't prevent you from discussing generic issues. However, Fat Fred is generally accepted as being a real contender and if he was allowed to speak he'd be mouthing off all over the show. Then add in the shady business dealings of Profitable and these assertions made to the Journal and it seems that they are just self serving opportunists.

I'm still gutted that the one to sign Saviola failed about 3 years ago. I signed the thing as well - how embarrassingly desperate.

Good news imo. if there was any chance of Ashley staying on he would be looking to get people out. by the same token if the buyers weren't real he wouldn't need to hold on to players to keep up agreed value of the club. It must be agreed with the potential incumbents that no one will leave.
