Howay Leeds, send the happy plakky clappers down and flush the blue noses finally

Happy af for Paul Simpson like

As redemption arcs go, it's a stormer like. Doesn't seem to be slowing down either. From failed CF, converted over time to goal scoring destroyer, CL football from the brink of relegation and now in the Brazil squad. Oh and the wife's pregnant. Canny busy 18 months like.

Still feel a bit for Cov fans like, they don't deserve the horrible bastard anywhere near their club any more than we did.

Chelsea vs. Newcastle United: 28/05/23 @ 16:30 (No UK TV)

Hope we get to see @Paully disappear into the celebrating away end today like at Everton -
I wonder how widely known his influence on our season is, outside of the UK. I mean we get to watch the likes of Kvaradona and Osimhen and dream of them playing for us...I wonder if fans in Italy talk about big Joe as a top midfielder. Once the big man gets some minutes for the national squad (and also plays in the CL next year), and people really get to see what he's about, he's going to be on a lot of shopping lists if he isn't already. I think with his qualities, he's somewhat unique. I think he'd enhance most midfields honestly, he's fucking brilliant.

Was trying to think of a "The Warriors" equivalent, forgot all about the Wanderers

Not a bad life here, weather is generally good, autumn especially is lush. Miss home though, especially around Christmas

Attacking lineup but that midfield is going to have some problems with theirs today like. -
Went to WHL in 1987 for the infamous fa cup game. Recall the day being dank and gloomy and while we walked with a police escort through this housing estate to the ground, all the locals were on their balconies watching us in silence. It was really fucking eerie. Aye, that area was, and probably still is, shite.

Everton missing DCL I think. Won't be a high scoring game, might be 1-0 to them, have a feeling they'll scrape out of it they usually do.

Not unlike NYC over here. Exciting city with loads going on, particularly Manhattan, absolutely class if you have cash, some of the nearby areas (boroughs) are colorful and fun to see with someone who knows their way around. I love visiting for the day/weekend but would never, ever live there.

So of the 3 "relegation" games, who's watching what? I was thinking Leeds vs Spuds might end up being the most dramatic with a few goals. I think Leicester win and Everton probably scrape it as well.

Dave Challinor is the Tranmere bloke but I don't know who manages Stockport

Bayern waving a fucking hubcap around, shite

Only needed a draw against Dundee if I recall
-
Unreal, Bayern score

Modeste coming on for Dortmund, didn't he play for Blackburn like 10 years ago?
-
How did Reus manage to miss that
-
Nice goal, plenty of time
-
Mainz could have had 3 on the counter this half, both teams less than ruthless
-
Need to draw the VAR lines to be sure

With all those jammy wins in the past 2 months and VAR help they got, they were lucky to get anywhere near top 4, should have finished closer to 8th. -
