  1. The big question with Mitro is: does he have the attributes required to ever make it at this level? It's unfair to judge a young striker coming in from another league on his first season in a way, but the worry for me is his complete lack of athleticism or pace, which is really the first and foremost you would look for when in search of a PL striker. He's also deceptively weak for such a stocky lad. Us going down could be the making of him like it was for Carroll, but if we stay up I fear for his future and I certainly wouldn't want to go into another season depending on him coming good after a bedding in year.
  2. The only way we're getting rid is if some other club comes in and offers us a couple of million for him. It's not going to happen people.
  3. Don't even think there would have been two as big as Villa and one of us/Mackems. In the event Norwich do survive then certainly not. Which also means coming back up at the first time of asking is likely to be a lot harder than it proved to be last time.
  4. Just the one? Seriously, McClaren is a sucker for 4-5-1 and persists with it even though it's evidently not working. Have we even tried two up top this season for example?
  5. Thought too much about that. You'd have to scoop up the s*** up and post it through, shirley? Given he's presumably got gates, it'll probably be one of those little box things up a height. Nee way you're getting your arse that high off the ground to s*** directly in without a stepladder.
  6. "We are here for a reason, and we have to continue" makes it sound like he was hired to take us down. Would explain a lot.
  7. Sure did mate, with Aarons, Saivet, Ayoze and Doumbia sitting on the bench (until it was too late for the latter two).
  8. We've once more shot ourselves in the foot and other results have gone against us too (not that it should matter really as we should comfortably have enough to stay up under our own steam if it wasn't for years of mismanagement and fuckface in the dugout). It looks like a 1 in 3 shot now, and I would back Sunderland over us any time, so up to a 8 we go.
  9. It's unabidable (if that's even a word). What happened was entirely predictable and when we finally did give it a go they suddenly looked vulnerable. We could have got a point or even a win if the manager had some cojones.
  10. Even Dummass expressing dissatisfaction at our continued to Elliott then hoof tactic
  11. I'll be watching your avatar for the second half. Bound to be more entertaining than the game.
