Palace will be good for him as the expectations will be tempered and he'll have less pressure to do his thing. He was very good at Brighton in the same regard to Eddie with improving players they unearthed from various leagues. He won't have the front office support he did at Brighton, but there's enough talent to draw from that he could develop and improve the squad to be challenging for a spot in the top 10 and not worry about relegation whatsoever. Probably the best place for him to rebuild his image, but I don't think he really damaged it that much considering Lampard did even worse when he took over.

I thought he was better yesterday than most have given him credit for. He's had very limited time on the pitch and been mostly productive while on it. That pass he put on a plate for Miggy to balls up wide was brilliant and the kid is rapid, so I don't know why anyone on here doubts his ability on the wing. Once his fitness is up to the rest of the squad, he'll become more of a threat. I'm willing to bet he has better stats than Willock next year.

Seeing @Dave post reminded me of the lads who passed that were regular posters on here. Been on this board nearly 20 years and this is the proudest I’ve been during most of that. I’m only half Geordie, but have always loved the heritage and history my Geordie family has had in the area. I haven’t been back in quite a while (just before COVID), but I will start planning for a trip in the fall for next season. I was lucky enough to see us play Barca in the CL when I was young, but can’t remember much other than it being loud and igniting my love for Football and my dedication towards NUFC. I hope everyone is excited for our future, cause I know I am.
