  1. Hadn't anticipated any changes. Keen to see if the team looks a bit slicker.
  2. They were knocking around on here last I saw them.
  3. Have always found him to come across dignified, earnest and measured. Was an incredible antidote to the utter piss we had poured on us as NUFC fans between 2019-21. Makes sense to give his preferred team another go, to try and perfect it, with the insurance of already having won a game. If it's truly ineffective, bin it.
  4. What a finish Tournament is absolutely epic so far.
  5. True true; not an ounce of luck on the goal though. Full-back should be stronger I guess.
  6. Yeah she just has a hideous voice. Another where I've just no idea how a certain commentator has got top billing (i.e. for women's football, in her case). As far as female comms go, ITV's main one is a lot better. Wouldn't know her name but a Google suggests it's Pien Meulensteen.
  7. Made the same point in the Europa games on TNT; ITV has the audio so muffled for some reason; very glad BBC had this cos you got a real sense of how bouncing it was.
  8. It's a fair point. The 3rd place finishers thing appears to be really helping at least the first round of games.
  9. Can we jail people for this? The Puma one had this on it ffs
  10. We'll never have stripes on the back as long as Adidas are the manufacturer.
  11. Another decent game; very energetic. Austria look like they could cause problems to a lot of teams but ultimately I don't think they looked like scoring at any point tonight. Tournament wins are based on solid defences and France looked extremely solid. Loved the Kante throwback performance; was one of my absolute favourites a few years back.
  12. thought exactly the same. What a moment that could've been. Argh.
  13. fantastic. The man is a lunatic. A brilliant lunatic.
  14. He is, definitely. Total mystery how he's top billing for ITV. I get why people hate Drury but, for me, there's a Partridge-like nuttiness which is somewhat endearing. Matterface just seems like a right knob.
