It isn't. Games not involving the likes of Bayern, Dortmund and one of Leverkusen/Schalke/Hamburg/Bremen (who ever of them has 'their season') are a) totally one-sided or b) totally boring. Simply because there's a gap between the cream and the middling teams doesn't mean the middling teams don't have quality. Look at how well German teams fare in Europe each year. The likes of Hannover, Monchengladbach, Stuttgart would clean-out West Brom, Fulham, (us) with ease. It is a top-quality league overall. Highly fan accessible and extraordinarily well managed. As the Germans do. The whole country is as tedious as fuck though.

It's a mistake. The Germans are boring and mechanical - even the crowds chant as if choreographed. He's more fluid and creative and he needs time. They won't give him it. Should have come to the PL so Stoke could have kicked the shit out of his tiki-taka.

Honestly think these kinds of strikers would struggle in the PL. Battyboy Goomis is not the ans. He struggles to hit over 11 goals a season at top clubs in France while playing almost every game. A 1in 3 striker from ligue 1, who isn't going to get any better translates to a 1 in 4 player at best over here. Simply not good enough, I'd rather we signed no striker than pay more than £2-3m for him. That's the gist of it. We need a striker/fwd who can link the mid and Cisse. Who can drop off and so on and has a bit of creativity. Otherwise we're back to square one with the greater spotted Pardclue.
