Not sure we'll ever see the 'old' Cabaye after this saga...Mash won't sell him cheap so it's gonna get interesting.
-
Not sure about Paulinho...Got rid.
-
Pardew has nicked the cables tbh.
-
Chelsea are holding back a bit. ManU are playing like Everton.
-
Or tell Debuchy to skip the vaseline.
-
Arsenal won't pay 20m or even 15m so don't give up hope just yet.
-
Worried about Coutinho not getting shots away or getting into the box...
-
Hopefully that's the jinx played.
-
Think it was just a panic bid after that loss to Villa. Not really interested unless they can get him cheap imho.

Ashley is never there, JFK is incoherent, Pards is in a dreamworld/building a lifeboat at Palace/writing a book of PL excuses/, Charnley is a Cinderella figure swishing around with a broom and a calculator covering all bases...All other employees of the club are Cylons.

I think it's a trust problem. When Ashley has left people to their own devices it's come back to bite him in the arse in some way. - Allows Allardyce to sign players he wants, ends up stuck with utter rubbish on high wages - Lets Chris Mort set up a "system", ends up with the manager quitting (rightly) with the others in the system completely despised by the fans and s*** at their jobs - Gets Llambias to run the club, despised by the fans, extremely hesitant in the transfer market to the point that Ashley apparently has to step in to push through purchases in January, fails completely to increase non-football revenues & signs a sponsorship contract that pisses off everyone I don't know if Pardew was Ashley's mate before getting the job or Llambias' mate. If it was the latter then it's another reason that Ashley might not trust people to do their jobs, if it's the former then it's probably why he's still here despite being demonstrably out of his depth. For some bizarre reason it looks like he trusts JFK hence why he keeps turning to him despite him being a lunatic. Ultimately Ashley's either going to have to bite the bullet and find someone to run the club that he doesn't know and initially trust but who can actually do the job and who knows how football works or he's going to have to be a lot more hands-on in running the club. Nothing gets done at NUFC without his say so, he may not exactly be hands on, but he has the final say. To say its all down to trust is laughable, its not. Its down to him being an absolute cunt who also happens to be absolutely clueless about football. For us the ultimate recipe for disaster. The man is a cancer to our club. We will come through this. As KK infered the club goes on, it is eternal and it's spirit is indestructable. That day might be a lot sooner than we can dare to dream about.

We rarely have more than 2 in the box for the final ball and most of the time one. The striker has seen little support for a long time now. Sissoko has been trying to run in there sometimes, but didn't see much of that againt Wham. The worst examples are when Hatem moves into or near the box from the right, he looks across and there mostly one man marked by 3/4. I don't know if the players are told not to bother with attacking...

Would you sign for us?
-
This will end up being one of those £1m per goal deals by the time he goes back.
-
Wasn't the 8 yr deal something to do with them thinking Eng were going to poach him and Ashley wanted max compensation?
-
Seems weird. Maybe Pards is stalking? Pards is secrely whoring himself to other clubs? Even he must know the game is up.
-
Shh!! Don't tell them. Pardew is a fantastic manager who can get them to 5th spot. We're extremely sad to see him go but can't stand in the way of his progression to a club with more financial muscle than us.

At last a place where his 'we can't compete' schtick will find a home.

Football has all gone to shit anyway, we're just picking through the bones out of habit. The Cardiff result cheered me up mind. It shows what can be done with a bit of nouse and heart.
-
A lot of teams do that now though, it baffles the hell out of me. You leave someone up and if they pick the ball up, you instantly have a chance of a counter attack, or in the least taking the pressure off. Works the other way as well...The more you leave 'up' the less they put into the box. If you leave two 'up' then teams tend to leave 3 back to mark them. All this is lost on Pards mind. For instance I'd leave Hatem and Cisse 'up'. They are more likely to cause a goal than stop one...

You can make him psychologically uncomfortable owning the club but in all reality with tv money being what it is, financially it will be difficult to hurt him.
-
Genius. Need to open those Brazilian shops innit.

Think they had a proper go at getting Gomis and that was about it....The trip to the yacht shows that panic/acceptance is setting in.
