Aye, he's probably even better than both Sane and Sterling IMO, very unlucky to be behind Aguero for the striker position, he'd probably start for any other team in the league.

What a week for Sevilla btw. First the comeback against Liverpool in mid-week, now they've gone from 2-0 down to winning 3-2 away to Villareal.

Crazy that they are only 21 and 22 years old. Especially Sterling, feels like he's been around forever. Sterling's improvement over the last year or so has been incredible like, he's turning into a fantastic player.

There is no doubt that he’s very average but he’s nowhere near as bad as mentioned on here and he’s not to blame for barely any of the goals mentioned on here. I think I had a look recently and he had been blamed by at least one user on here for 90% of our goals conceded. When I’m bored and on my laptop I’ll have a look again but I bet it’s probably similar, if not the same. On that basis if we had Hugo Lloris in goal, we’d be in the top 4. Speaks volumes about how wrong and pathetic the constant criticism is. Depends how you assess keepers really, he doesn't make any obvious highlight reel errors, but at Pl level every single keeper will be at least a decent shot stopper. The metric by which good keepers stand out is movement, positioning, command of area, speed of adjustment. All things he is lacking in. Let's put it this way, in terms of the rest of the league, where would you rank him? who wouldn't you have over him? He's not even a good shot stopper though. Aye, he doesn't make many/any howlers, but he's just not a very good keeper. I would rather a keeper made a howler per season if he was good in the other areas of the game.

While these might not get relegated again, is staying up even as a mid-table club good enough for them? They had fuck all money this summer, despite selling Pickford for £30m plus the parachute payments. Another manager sacked, less parachute money and literally no saleable assets, they're absolutely fucked for next season as well, surely?

There are probably a million different ways of valuing a company tbf, but that's how I remember it from the economy that I've studied.

But it's probably not far from the truth, I think he'd happily take that if it was offered, but given we are probably going to be not too far from the relegation zone, then PCP will use that to drive the price down. I wouldn't think you would have much joy with using a possible (but unlikely) future event to drive down the price of a company. Wouldn't be so sure of that, a company's value is based pretty much entirely on expected future income, so a possible relegation where a big chunk of that income would disappear will drive the price down.
