We get a few mail order brides at the school. A lot of 'em aren't allowed to leave the house, and only get to come to German lessons under protest from their dirty old men. The sick old fucks know their hot wives will most likely run off with someone less disgusting first chance they get.

[move]??????[/move]

They do that in Germany (or at least at Schalke) when the players come out.
-
That would depend on how they're blocking it exactly. Might get away with as little as changing your DNS servers to Google's instead of your ISP's. You might need a proxy/VPN. I don't think they'd necessarily need to be abroad (that would imply to cooperation of the providers of the streams in blocking UK-based visitors), just a provider that doesn't give a fuck.

Unquestionably a valuable ability in a manager, but if you have the time and resources, the ability to build a winning side is better.

Fuck me. The fella's barely had a chance to impart his tactics, let alone buy players to suit them, and that's a stick to beat him with? We're in one (worthless) cup final, and still in the other cup. If we were, say, just one point off the relegation places, well, that would be a stick to beat someone with.

This was discussed a few days ago. You don't go to jail in Spain for a first offence, if it's less than 2 years of prison time. The article is crap, I guess they didn't bother checking how our legal system works. It also seems that sending him to jail for tax evasion would be pretty stupid considering he's probably outsourced all that shit to a licensed tax accountant. You might as well lock up the patient for malpractice when a surgeon has cut their wrong leg off.

It's not enough for KI to give TCD loads of shit. He wants all his awards, too.

Funny how he hasn't yet twigged that "glasses" is plural in English and keeps saying "it". Fun fact: in German, you say "Brille", which is a round thing with a hole in the middle. It also means "toilet seat".
-
That was fucking awesome
-
"Gegenpressing". What a word.
-
He can't be all that smart, though, can he, if we've hoodwinked him into joining us?

This appointment pleases me The last few pages of this thread have been pretty good, too

Yet to a man they all claim they have and will never turn on a manager. Not Rodgers, not Hodgson, absolutely not..... would be one of the most cuntish things to do that like, fucking hell at least the sackpardew people, and then a load of our own fans, had enough balls to say they wanted the prick gone rather than slinking up in masks (i assume?) of another manager while you still have one employed I kept thinking during the sackpardew stuff how some kept slagging the fans for it yet not a word when Liverpool do similar(even getting a plane to fly over with Rodgers out) its not even questioned. Didnt they slaughter KK that last time too? You mean like the slagging they're not getting on here?

A thoughtful and well-reasoned post, as always.

He recently said, "it doesn't necessarily have to be a club in the title race, it could also be a challenger." To be honest, I think he'd rather choose a club with potential whose side he can shape after his vision over several seasons. He was manager at both his previous clubs (Mainz and Dortmund) for 7 years. I don't think the Bayern job, for example, would appeal greatly to him: it's already the finished article. I think LFC is the kind of job that might be attractive for Klopp. We may be way off the pace, on and off the field, but we're still a legendary club, have a history of supporting our managers without interference, and our board appears to be quite sane. That's not to say I think we'll get him, but I hope we do. As much as I dislike Dortmund, under Klopp they had some brilliant and very exciting sides.

Agree 100% with the last paragraph. FFS, Rafa.

What's he talking about?...."I showed him I was black". Did he think Gerrard wouldn't notice like? Makes me wonder what Diouf thinks "being black" is all about. Somehow I imagine him standing in front of Gerrard, sticking pencils in his afro, saying "do you see? Do you see?"

I reckon they are, though. Brits are like comically super-hyper-sensitive to anything that could potentially be perceived as racist, in a very amusing contrast to almost any other kind of discrimination. It's largely fine to say that immigrants/poor people/the uneducated/the French can all get to fuck, like, but woe betide the foolish fucker that mentions skin colour, regardless of whether it's actually racist or not. You often get a very different reaction from Brits if you say, "I fucking hate French people" than you do if you say, "I fucking hate Nigerians". Whether or not the person you're talking to has ever met anyone from France or Nigeria, let alone visited the country, appears to be entirely irrelevant.

That may be because a good number of the people responsible for Heysel disaster were arrested, tried and punished for it. Those responsible for Hillsborough destroyed the evidence and got away scot-free, largely thanks to government complicity in the cover-up. It took literally over 20 years for the blame to be correctly apportioned, and still nobody was actually punished for what they did. I'd be the first to agree that a lot of Liverpool fans have chips on their shoulders that are so large that they practically qualify as moons, but beating LFC fans as a group over the head with their different attitude towards a disaster where many of the guilty went to prison and a disaster where everyone who was actually responsible not only got away scot-free, but were allowed to paint the victims as the perpetrators, is some pretty weak sauce. I've spoken to a lot of fans of other clubs who were going to matches in the '80s, and by far the most common response to Hillsborough is "there, but for the grace of God, go we." There's plenty to criticise in LFC fans without having to reach for the Heysel-Hillsborough straw man.

Well durr. No Scousers died in the Heysel disaster, which was clearly the fault of whoever it was that built the shitty stadium walls. /s
