Rafa looked happy? -
No way is Rafa leaving before the end of the season. If Ashley is here in the Summer he's gone but until then he isn't bailing.

Awful. I knew they were near the bottom for a reason but with the quality of players like Shaqiri and Allen I expected them to cause us problems. Aside from the last 10 minutes they didn't trouble us at all really. The biggest thing you noticed was how easy it was to create against them just freely giving our midfielders as much time on the ball as we wanted. Also it looks like some of them i.e Shaqiri have given up on playing for Hughes. I think he'll be sacked in the next few days. -

I didn't think Brighton were good really, I was watching the game thinking this stinks of two relegation teams. We made them look better than they are because the only times we actually put a couple of passes together they were there for the taking. FWIW, Matthew Ryan had a good game. -
Positivity on the ball was the thing lacking the most though. Time and time again the ball went near him and we stopped dead. Aye I know we need better but I'd still rather have Dummett than Manquillo even if the latter is a bit more positive bursting forward.

He's very negative on the ball but thought he was fine today.

Anyone expect anything different to this come 2pm? Darlow Yedlin Lascelles Clark Dummett Ritchie Hayden Merino Atsu Gayle Joselu -
'Zero red cards' Clutching at straws there. If he has the same pass accuracy then he needs to seriously improve it because 90% of Hayden's passes are 5 yards or less whereas a large chunk of Shelvey's are 40-50 yards. Shelvey on average passes 7 metres longer than Hayden. Hayden in turns plays in a more defensive position, so it's only natural he passes shorter. Course he does, he isn't capable of making telling passes forward.

How the fuck is Hayden better than Shelvey? Like what attribute in his game is better? The only one I'll give him is hard work and trust he'll give his all. Don't get me wrong I'm all for selling Shelvey in the long run when we can afford to do it, but as it stands we have a shit squad and Shelvey just so happens to be one of the better of our shit players.

Definitely not Hamann? Barnes scored a few for us I would have thought he took a few.
-
Martins? Ketsbaia? Can't remember any like.
-
Think he's a donkey tbh
-
What a prick that interviewer is and he's like that every single time with his poncy questions. 'Will you adopt a different approach against Brighton?" What do you think you cretin

Don't care. Bye.

I would certainly rest a few. The schedule is hectic and we have a crucial run of games coming up. I'd probably leave Merino out if he's still not fully right and just stick Shelvey in. He's back for this one isn't he? Then I'd rest possibly Atsu/Ritchie and play Murphy and also consider giving Dummett some game time. -

Shit myself when he did that because I thought he'd seen the linesman with his flag up or something, even though thinking about doesn't make much sense as it was a cutback -
