Ok this isn't more winnable than Brighton or Burnley, however at least we can sit back and play counter which suits us. It will play more as an away game.
Doesn't sound like Slimani will make it, but at least he's back for the Man U clash. Wouldn't want him risked anyway.
I'm just hoping Merino, Kenedy, Murphy and Gayle all start.
End of the day we've got WBA, Huddersfield, Stoke and Swansea below us in the table with a game in hand and better goal difference. If we don't stay up then we don't deserve to.
Bit worrying looking at the fixtures, I'd say Huddersfield and Southampton have equally as difficult fixtures but the rest have easier ones. It's all on paper obviously but games like Palace away are games you need to be picking up points. We're going to have to beat one of the big sides.
Typical Dummett that. He could have easily drove in to the box but instead tried a fucking curling cross from 10 yards further back because he knew he couldn't do anything else.
I know Mitrovic hasn't shown anything to suggest he's going to score a bagful of goals, but he has to play now. I'd be tempted to play Perez off him as they seem to work quite well together.
Marcos Llorente at Real who is also a DM and not Llorente at Spurs.
This can only be happening because the injury is not going to allow Merino to get back to full performance anytime soon, and Rafa isn't happy with the options we currently have.
Who knows at this point ... we're just such a disgusting club.
I know exactly. FWIW I'd rather have Fernando at this stage. No striker is critical.
