Miley is clearly ahead of Longstaff, and I'd have him ahead of Willock given his performances this season. The only reason I think he plays Willock ahead of him is because he's quick which isn't something our midfield is blessed with. We'll have more games this season anyway so hopefully he'll get more minutes.

I do think Miley should have played more this season.

I find it hard to believe we'll only sign 3 players. Wilson and Longstaff or Willock will be off. One of our signings will probably be a GK. So that would mean 2 outfield players outgoing and 2 outfield players incoming leaving our squad just as short as it is now. Obviously Wilson is never fit but still.

Wilson doesn't strike me as the sort of a player who will be happy to just train and be a "good person around the training ground". I'm not saying he's a bad egg, I'm just saying players like Dummett/Ritchie probably accepted they weren't ever going to play.
