  1. If FFP is split over the length of a contract we can more than replace him for £35m.
  2. My main gripe with ASM isn't his inconsistency, it's the fact he's injured every other game.
  3. If hypothetically our budget was only £75m, then how does the Tonali signing contribute to that? Is it literally just £11m per year for the transfer fee, and then whatever top on wages? Assuming his wages are around £6m a year he's cost us around £17m this season? I'm sure that's wrong as that would leave us with around £55m to spend, which would mean we could sign around another 3 Tonali's.
  4. We all would, unfortunately those players will bring in a sum of fuck all. I guess the idea is if FFP is calculated per year based on contract length then getting £35m for someone like ASM can go a long way to increasing our spending power short term.
  5. Has anyone worked out/broken down what our spending was last season and year before (Based on how FFP works with the spread per year of contract)?
  6. Neville and Carragher are class imo, who would you prefer?
  7. Plus getting Chiesa and Tierney on loan seems very doubtful.
  8. That report is like a week old.
  9. I'd rather sign a left back than right back.
  10. Need that Tonali unveiling to ease my mind for a few days ?

    Anthony Gordon

The left footed shot? No chance the angle was really tight.
  12. Hasn't he got a £35m release clause?
  13. Pretty gutted we didn't get him tbf.
  14. Bad image going around Twitter but looks like we've signed Khepren Thuram as his Dad Lilian has been spotted holding up our shirt.
  15. 2 more months of this shit ? Will be glad once the friendlies to start will take some of the focus off transfers.
  16. Why would Pep want to help a direct rival close a signing?
  17. Yeah, then Beresford swore at Keegan during the game after Keegan had bollocked him for Villa getting in down the wing. Beresford said it took about 3/4 months for Keegan to forgive him.
  18. If you're from Germany I could understand it, but from Kane's POV winning the Bundesliga, Seria A, Ligue 1 etc doesn't seem that appealing to me. If I was Kane I'd stay unless I can move to a club capable of winning the PL or Real Madrid/Barcelona.
  19. Yeah but not the Bundesliga, who even cares about winning that?
  20. It's common knowledge Ashworth is an alcoholic so this rings true.
  21. I don't mind Howe's approach of easing the players in, same time I believe players like Bruno and Botman would have looked good from the get go.
