Long term he's not the answer regardless of what happens this season. He's not implemented any kind of footballing philosophy on the club, he's too worried about using training to stop the other team play. If we want to be able to compete top 8 places season after season we need our own style.

This is our problem, we're trying to stay up but we basically can't count on getting a point from a single away game which narrows our survival down to very few home games.. I honestly believe we can't do much worse than what we already have, we may just have to take a risk that our owner can get someone remotely decent in. Out of interest how many points do people think we need to survive? And what games can we get these points from?

Frustrates me like nothing else when we're chasing a game and he catches a cross then holds onto the ball for 30 seconds so every one can get in position for the hoof. I'd say he was instructed to do so or we'd have one of our CBS offering themselves for the simple pass.

Swansea have 3 games in 6-9 days, and from the interview he's looking forward to it.. Makes a change. Pardew has made me into such a negative twat these last few months. Fucking hate him now.

He may not be anything special, but swansea use what talents he does have to great effect. He looks miles better than he ever was for us in the Prem.

Earlier when he switched to the right and made a darting run inside into the Brighton half our midfield was no where to be seen, just walking / standing about. Not one player in a black n white shirt made themselves available.. I'd get fed up of that shit too tbf.

All the talk on Radio Newcastle pre-match today, was that an FA Cup 3rd round win could give us some confidence to take into our next league game. Norwich got that win, we didnt. With a comfortable 3-0 win away from home. Forgotten what that feels like. That stat I posted earlier is actually over 20 away games without a win if you include our per season games.

The fact that we basically have to dismiss the rest of our away games is a disgrace, and just another reason why ap needs to go.

We haven't won away from home in over 17 games, I fear norwich will be another to add to that stat.. It's fucking depressing.

'Young side. Didn't have enough. Hoped to get to 70 minutes and let Marveaux create magic but the situation got away. Perch injured, Shola sent off. Disruption put us out of kilt. Young players gave it all but shouldn't be representing us but that's where we're at. Sending off is a nothing challenge. Ref should have given him benefit of the doubt. Bigi and Anita were best players. Tav played better centre half. Rob Elliott was solid but we didn't have enough big players on the pitch against a Championship side at home. Marveaux is in good form. He changed things and gave us more presence and allowed Anita to play more. Expected them to sit back but it didn't happen. Disappointed we're out (apparently) and wishes he could field a stronger team. Fans brilliant. Supported throughout. We have to sustain our Premiership status (admitting he threw the game?) Colo, Cisse strains blah blah blah. Jonas, Cabaye and Taylor MAY be back next week' Did he really say he expected them to sit back?
