4-5-1 would be a beter way to to nick a resuly. Depends upon whether gaining a point would be viewed as a 'good' result. Did you see their game at the weekend? Portsmouth parked the bus and played for a point and got beat. go and have a go at them i reckon, pointless changing what we've been doing for the last two games and as others have said its very likely they'll score even if we try and defend for 90 minutes, probably more likely actually. a loss wouldnt be the end of the world as long as our performance is still a good one going into the reading game

give him a new contract, since he's been up to full fitness he's been head and shoulders above all our other attacking players, a few missed chances but he's still scoring and at the end of the day thats what counts edit - i accept he's not getting any younger but with the sharp end of his pace now gone anyway, what do we have to worry about apart from injuries? fair enough its a concern but he's had a good run of games recently and it seems like he might have finally turned a corner. also with his proven ability at playing the deeper role we know he's a LOT more adaptable than some would have you believe i just dont think a club in our position should be wanting to offload a player as good as him, doesnt make sense to me
