  1. I know he's malaysian-born not like he'll ever play for that particular national team...
  2. He hasn't disappointed because we expected nothing from him. Perhaps he has done enough to justify a one year extension, but he isn't getting any younger and he simply wouldn't fit in a team pushing for top 4.
  3. I don't think we can afford to lose Bramble now. We need a replacement for Boumsong as it is. Craig Moore is leaving whether we like it or not. Nobby I would keep on a short term contract. Sibs has done well for a panic signing, but... he really isn't good enough :/

    Favourite player

Interesting choice, can't see it catching on though bluebiggrin.gif Join the Luque appreciation club tbh. Fourth favourite after Zoggy, Shay and Solano. Why? IMO he's one of the most talented players in the squad, and would have been an automatic starter by now if he hadn't been abandoned by the manager. And sympathy, having wasted a good part of his prime here.

  6. So much for hoping this was the game that gets Roeder sacked But if it turns around our season and we start playing like we should with the players we've got, I'll be happy to take back everything I've ever said about the man.

    Crouch in january

Underrated for his footballing ability, overrated for his aerial ability. Would take him too, as long as we aren't planning to lob it long to him all of the time, which we will under the current management.
  8. Especially as left wing is the one position we're really strong in. Duff, N'Zogbia, Luque, Emre and Milner would all have to be out for him to get a game. Um, actually I think you can take Luque out of that list.

    january defence

I see absolutely no reason for Wigan to let us have Baines, unless we come in with silly money (6-8 mil?).
  10. Can't say the fixtures back then were any easier than the fixtures we had at the start of the season. Charlton, Sheffield United, Wigan, Fulham, Everton and Bolton, all at home, and we only won one of them this time around.
  11. 3 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses isn't really amazing per se

It works for me (and two others) can't get on liveharmony though.
  13. Not like it'll make a difference since his suspended
  14. No, plain old supporter will do. Just someone who wants us to win every game we play rather than someone who wants a result to go against us or hopes a player will do badly or gets injured just so they can prove a point and feel superior on an internet message board. Which would you prefer? Have one result go for us and allow the remaining 20+ fixtures to go against us, or the opposite of that? Roeder is that bad.
  15. He's IS slow, clumbersome, hesitant, with terible lapses in concentration, thick and a terrible reader of the game, we should have got rid years ago, i woulden't play him in the reserves personally. He's cost us more games/points than any other player i can remember and playing with him must be very demoralising as the crowd are nervous evertime he goes near the ball (so are the players), he's been a cancer to our club, its definately long overdue and time to say goodbye and don't even be thinking about coming back! Its not his fault that all of his managers love him :/
  16. Superfan or soopafan, whichever describes the above poster better.
  17. Aye, like we have any players who don't need to improve their game at all
  18. I would sooner play him upfront as a battering ram than playing him at the back where he can really cost us.
  19. I'm thinking 14-1 might just do the job. *prays*
  20. Nah he won't. Doing a great job at relegating us, which is what he's aiming for now, I'm sure now.
  21. Damien Duff at leftback tbh. I wish anyway.
  22. On the contrary, I think its players like them who could save us from relegation. They are the ones who can still up their game a notch without too much effort, unlike the players most relegated sides have who work their nads off and give 110%, but are still not good enough.
  23. Supporting the toon is depressing business these days. Roeder out already ffs. Fucking hypocrite.

    Gooners away

The thing I especially dislike about our 4-5-1 is that we get dominated in midfield anyway (by sheffield united at home, no less), even with 5 players "crowding it up". Roeder needs to learn his limits and stick to the basics, and nothing but the basics.
