I honestly, honestly would prefer Shola over Ba in the "hold up striker" role. Ba wasn't even challenging for the ball against Lescott most of the time and even when he gets it he loses it so easily. Best would probably be better than either of them though, unless Tottenham Shola reappears.

What are you expecting to see when he's playing against a midfield with Yaya Toure, Nigel De Jong and Milner? Without Tiote we're getting trampled in there.

We haven't gotten past their midfield all game long, not sure how we're supposed to even threaten their defence. Unless Ben Arfa decides to dribble through their whole team and score himself, anyway.

Erm, tbh I don't know about signing another striker/winger (Hoilett). How would we accommodate him in the squad? Blackburn and Wigan should be going down, and even if they don't I don't think their star players would want to stay much longer. Samba, definitely, not sure about anyone else.
