Taylor's fault there, that was a shite header
-
Good cross from Baines but the marking is non-existant. Aren't these Italian's supposed to be...Italian? They are absolute pants at the back! 2-0 Lita...about fucking time
-
mackems.gif There are no words. Great ball from Noble tho, whoever it was that said dropping Huddlestone was the way to go if England wanted an extra forward was absolutely spot on. PS: it was me And he's fucking done it again mackems.gif FFS, they might as well put the corner flag up front.

Sky Sports 1. Quality entertainment - Not only due to the excellence of Nedum Onuoha's performance so far, but also Brian Marwood's attempts to pronounce his name
-
I'd assume he's injured. His lead boots aren't suited to 442, but Pearce is a complete muppet and would never realise that dropping him is the way to go if he wanted an extra forward. PS: If he's not injured, I'd credit Pearson with the insight, as Pearce is a complete muppet.

Team is: Carson; Hoyte, Onuoha, Taylor (In for Cahill), Baines; Noble (In for Huddlestone), Reo-Coker, Milner, Young; Nugent, Lita (In for Richardson)

The PL are probably just covering their backs in case the CAS forces them into or something. I doubt they're planning to boot them themselves...
-
Definitely. His Nan does it. Seriously.

666? 999 more like. http://www.uit.no/mancity/pictures/barton.jpg? http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/39822000/jpg/_39822625_barton_emp245x300.jpg? http://fotball.adressa.no/multimedia/archive/00041/Barton_41997e.jpg? His arms get longer every year? He's probably reverting into some form of ape-like creature

Buy Sibierski! I was thinking more Marcus Bent. Thats Barton getting sent off for a frustrated lunge on Abdouley (sp?!) Faye. I doubt that makes the top 10 Barton whoopsies This, however, does. And its not even one of those things that you could just put down to a rush of blood or a moment of madness.

Good fucking riddance. Delighted to see the back of him, the baggage far outwieghs his ability. Delighted we stood our ground on this bonus issue too, which I assume is now over considering we've probably "paid" him with your money. Now I wonder what washed-up never-was we should spend our 300k on...

Idan fucking Tal?!? Yer what?!? 16 appearances - 4 of them for more than 45 minutes - no goals... Seriously. WTF? This is as bad as that thing not so long ago that reckoned Kevin Davies was the worst player in the league...
-
He doesn't seem to like the physical game.. Bodes well for him in the Premiership.. Sounds like Ronaldo when he first came to the Prem. Sounds more like Luque to me! Fingers crossed eh

Got to nominate Vicente Matias Vuoso. Diego Forlan's strike partner at Indipendiente. Keegan paid £3.5m for him without ever seeing him in the flesh. Never played a game. Sold him to some mexican outfit for an "undisclosed fee" - AKA, a massive loss. I'd also be tempted to nominate Dietmar Hamann. Signed for a Bolton on a free - we actually paid cash money to take him off their hands. How he ever passed a medical - let alone two in a week is beyond me. Chain smoker who has been playing 60 games a season for more than 10 years, so completely and utterly shot and pieces I would question the sanity of anyone who thinks he has owt to offer - I'd be worried if I were you - Allardyce signed him too

Just reading an article about City in the Times, it lead on thru some Barton shite into a bit about Newcastle... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premiership/manchester_city/article1923678.ece

I'm of the opinion that Stuart Pearce is an absolute cretin. I honestly think he is thick as mince. I'm sure that by the end of this tournament everyone who has been paying attention will think the same. There are some City fans who think he's a nice bloke, that he took the City job too soon, that he'll be a good manager one day. I'm not one of them. Too many mates in the game and in the pressbox tho. Will never get the stick he deserves. I mean, 4/1 favourite to be the next England manager. There are no words.
-
True, but he also rates Ramage highly for some bizarre reason. To be fair to the Ramage, he hasn't done too badly for us in UEFA games, and neither did the whole team until Alkmaar away so you can kind of see why Royle may regard him as an OK player based on what he's been watching of him. And they said this man has taste. Well no they didn't actually Joe Royle claimed that Tony Grant was the best passer of a ball from A to B in english football. Repeatedly. Who? Exactly.
-
I hope they use Colin Murray and Pat Nevin. More fun than the rest of the other channel's presenters put together. Give James Richardson the John Barnes role. Give John Barnes the corner flag's role. Give Joe Royle a miss too, top bloke but I can just imagine him bleating on about every 50p headed muppet who can jump a bit being "great in the air".
-
To me it seems pretty obvious who's in the right over this - the PFA will normally argue black is white for one of their members. Mick Maguire arguing City's case rather than Barton's says a lot IMO.
-
For Barton, certainly. Could sign for Newcastle to tomorrow but apparently he cares more about money. For Newcastle, not for me to say. For City, not for me. Not embarrased over this one bit. I'd be embarrased if were willing to pay the odious little spacker. In fact I'll go as far to say that if City agree to pay him this, without being forced into it by a court of law, they'll never see another penny of my money again.

George Bush? He's no a billionaire is he?
-
I didn't see the game...how did Nedum Onuoha play? Verdict on Pearce?
-
All I'll say is...you don't get to be a billionaire and prime-minister by being a mug. If Thaksin has left any serious amount of money within reach of the Thai goverment I'll be very suprised. No, the Kaka moneys are safely tucked away in Switzerland... I hope...
