Be fair mate - We're worse than that. 4-0 and more to come. Pathetic. We've got 4 strikers on the pitch - the 2 best ones are out on the wings and we've got two journeymen plodders up front. Pearce is fucking Clueless.

Well, he plays like Franco Braseli most weeks. But there is something about Henri Camara that turns him into Franco Sinclair... :thbdwn:
-
He has been absolutely shocking. Probably get a -10 but he might get a 3 bonus for being Wigan's best player. Captain, two times player of the year, and only experienced player in the defense - His marker has scored and hes put one in himself. If this was Bramble someone would have shot him by now. whiteflag.gif

He's one sandwich short of a picnic...but no doubt he is a funny guy. It must be awesome to play for him.

I can't see anyone going near him. Even for a trial.

Does anyone know how the Bouns Point system works? Last night I checked my score and had 38 points - woke up this morning and had 51? :first:

Lentini was the worlds most expensive player before Shearer. Milan signed him from Torino around 1992 but he flopped badly after being seriously injured in a car crash. Disappeared into obscurity by the time of the Shearer transfer.

He was playing for City reserves this season! He has played one game for the reserves, in a 2-0 win at Wrexham reserves. He did score but according to the blog that reports on all the City reserve and academy games: "If Sibierski was attempting to put of any suitors for his services, he was doing a fair job as his passing and movement were appalling and he new nothing of the goal he scored." Yes, he is that bad.
-
He soon backed down and dropped his demands once City announced this. Apparently not interested in having it publicly known hes on the take. McKay told the Manchester Evening News: "It is bang out of order for information like this to go public." He added: "It's unprofessional. They're just having a pop." And Brown paper bags aren't?

http://insidewoodland.com/pictures/trees/bird.jpg ? Thats not a bird, its an anthopomorph. The actual little birdie posted it a city forum. Seems way to much personally, i'm inclined not to believe it. But he seems quite confident that its true.

Little birdie tells me the fee was £800k rising to £1.2m

He scored more than 1. I've had time to think about it and I can remember 3. bluebiggrin.gif he said 1 goal in 35 'headed' attempts Ya, I can remember 3 headed goals. Leeds home from the edge of the box, Birmingham at home when the keeper came and flapped, Norwich away from about 2 yards...

He scored more than 1. I've had time to think about it and I can remember 3. bluebiggrin.gif This idea that he's good in the air comes from a spectacularly powerful long range headed goal he scored against Leeds once upon a monday. I would describe it as a flash in the pan.

City only paid about £600,000 3 years ago, before everyone knew he was shite. You would have paid £250k max.

Some thoughts from City forum: Thread "SIBI GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "just been sold, anyone got link?!" "Where did you hear that and how much did we pay them?" "Craaaaaazzzzzyyyyyy Geordies! At least some good news from the last day of the window" "HOLY SHIT IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!! " "Its not a loan, Hes actually gone on a 1 year contract!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!" "Is this a joke??? Fucking great!!! And fee for him too!!" "Unreal.......Gobsmacked. We actually got money. Whats the catch?" I'm staggered. Don't need me to tell you this is downright desperation from Roeder. (And no, he isn't good in the air)
-
Seriously?? I'll give you a clue: He's shite. And no, he can't head a ball. Scored one headed goal that I can remember (Spectacular long range one to be fair). Also as slow as a 3 legged donkey running backwards in quicksand. Good pro to be fair, always worked hard and never complained about being played all over the place - or dropped - as he has been, completely, for every game this season. There will be much rejoicing in this part of the world if this is true. Sorry, but I burst out laughing when I read this.

Where will we finish? 11th Will Roeder still be our manager in January? Yes Which of our younger/fringe players (if any) will make a name for himself this season and why? I'll always go for the athletic players to be the ones who step up and make an impression. I've seen O'Brien a couple of times and he doesnt really do it for me, so I'll go for Lua Lua Jr. Will Dyer play more than 5 games for us this season? Hes due a good season. So maybe 10. Will Shola score more goals than he did last season? By virtue of being an automatic choice...yes Will we get to see the real Albert Luque or will he continue to disappoint? The real Albert Luque will continue to disappoint Who will be the star of our defence ('keeper included)? Given And midfield? N'Zogbia And up front? Duff How many new players will we sign before the close of this transfer window? 1. Someone underwhelming/ And how many will leave? 0 How many times will "Shearer-Shearer" be chanted this season? Pass Who will flop for us this season? Nicky Butt. Who will outshine all others? N'Zogbia Will Owen make an appearance before the season is over? Only in the BBC studio when Newcastle play in the cup. Will an attendance drop below the 50,000 mark for a league game for the first time since SJP was rebuilt? No Will we go the season without any off-field dramas/headlines of the name through mud variety? No Will we win something this year? No How far in all the cups, then? Depends on the draw; how long you can avoid Chelsea, Liverpool etc. Semis max. Nicky Butt - will he win you over? Will he fook. Will we miss Shearer this season? No. Should have some legs up fron for a change. Are you excited about the new season? Pass
