  1. Fatty Blobinson comfortably beaten from outside the area despite being on the right side of the goal? The man dive about as far can dive about as far as I can levitate. Drogba goal disallowed for nowt costing me points too blueupset.gif Nice header from Dawson there tho...Costing me a Terry clean sheet blueupset.gif
  2. People talk about players shouldn't be getting booked for celebrating with their own fans as its not incitement? Cue Richard Keys and co. laying into Johnny Foriegner, Pardew "not doing a great deal wrong". I would have chinned the cunt personally.
  3. I'll tell you what, there is a lot of negativety re: Pearce in the City support - Mostly concerning our performances away from home (I think we have 4 points in 2006 or something similarly pathetic). He's walking on thin ice himself. Can't see him going yet, even if we get beat here but I'm not sure if losing here will be enough for Roeder to go either. I don't see how last nights "performance" is not worth the boot but losing an away game would be.
  4. That was then, this is now. He's played every game but 1 this season and hasn't put a foot wrong - 4 clean sheets already. PS: David James = Englands #1
  5. Overrated, decent shot stopper but couldn't catch the Ebola virus. If England are looking for another option they could do worse than Nicky Weaver.
  6. Their Brainchild? No, their brainchild was a way of deciding who the best team in Europe was. The Champions League as it has become is the brainchild of the accountants. It exists only as a cartel to ensure the rich stay rich and the rest (eg: us) have no chance of ever catching up. They say romance is dead - Well here's the culprit. Worst thing that ever happened to top-flight football.
  7. Only 500%? Sounds drastic, but really your understating the fact. I think Campbell influence has been overstated personally. He is part of an extremely well organised (Courtesy of Tony Adams) defensive unit, and he is surrounded on all sides by experience and quality. James, Stefanovic, Primus, Glen Johnson with his head screwed on, right up thru Sean Davis and Benjani, it all makes a big difference defensively. Obviously a good player but hes no miracle worker. Even though I have the greatest of contempt for him, I think you are underestimating his ability to organise a defence massively. I can only go off what I see. Over the past year or so Campbell has declined horribly. Now he's moved and is playing well again, I think its only fair to credit his new surroundings.

  9. Ya I just saw that too. He really embrassed himself there, he seemed to have no comprehension of an offensive formation whatsoever. "Wide...Player...Must....Track....Back!!!!" What a dinosaur.
  10. 4-3-3 Bloke with Radio Hat Groundsman - Postman - Tea Lady - Fat Translator Bloke Abramovich - Mourinho - Frank Lampard Sr. SWP - Crespo's Mam - Kenyon Betting on Bremen = Free money
  11. He's been doing a pretty good impression of a shite PES player ever since he came tho. He really does give the ball away a lot. Not impressed me at all for someone with such a great reputation. Him and Lampard aren't a patch on Xavi and Deco.
  12. I reiterate my opinion that Lampard has sold his soul to the devil. 90% of the goals he scores are due to enormous slices of luck - That was a fucking cross. He's got no right to be playing for England. He should be playing fucking Bingo.
  13. Not ready. Got the raw ingredients - Pace, Size, Strength, bit of skill, reasonable goalscoring record at reserve level but hes a converted striker playing on the wing and it really shows. The odd flash of ability when he can get his head down in space isn't really enough if he wants to play regularly. Still got a lot to learn... Would be nice if he made it tho, he only lives down the road from me bluebiggrin.gif
  14. Wanna know the secret? We nicked him off Oldham when he was 13. Altho some tribunal arsehole thinks that means Oldham deserve 20% of any transfer fee we get for him mental.gif I think its the scouting network that makes the difference - A good percentage of the young players we've had come thru aren't Mancunian. (Barton - Liverpool, SWP(BWP) - London, Richards - Birmingham, Ireland - Ireland, This kid Sturridge who is allegedly the next big thing - Coventry I think). Only Jordan, Miller, Onuoha and this Johnson kid who made his debut last week are local.
  15. Fairly warned, be ye Sicilian corner flags...
  16. In depth? Apart from experience he's got the ****ing lot mate. Obviously I'm biased but I think he is amonst the best youngsters in world football - right up there alongside the likes of Fabregas and Messi. I just can't see anything that makes me think "If he could do _____ then he'd be great..." Quality youngster even if 'he is amonst the best youngsters in world football' is going over the top a bit. Spurs bid £5m for him in the summer and got turned down, but he is diehard gooner and only wants to move to the scum. That's where I expect him to be within 2 years. Unless Chelsea buy him for the sake of not letting anyone else have him again... You know Henry sent him a signed shirt congratulating him on his progress a little while back. Not that they meant to tap him or anything, its only those naughty boys at Chelsea who do that. PS: I'm biased, we just won, I'm in a good mood re: City, obviously I'm going over the top bluebiggrin.gif
  17. Tsk, Vassell is all fart and no shit, which is precisely why we sold him to you. He'll never be anything more than entirely average. EDIT Oh no, I've just found myself agreeing with something the previous regime did. Monday 31st October, 2005. Manchester City 3-1 Aston Villa. Vassell 2 Tuesday 14th March, 2006. Manchester City 2-1 Aston Villa. Vassell 1. Tuesday 25th April, 2005. Aston Villa 0-1 Manchester City. Vassell. Not bitter or anything? bluebiggrin.gif Doesn't compute. The O'Leary era never happened. Nor did Ellis. Whatever helps you sleep at night. whistling.gif

  20. He's not shit, hes a right footed forward being played out position on the left wing nono.gif He is no world beater by any stretch of the imagination but he did a good job and I won't have a go at him for missing what was by his standards a tough chance. PS: I love you, right hand post at the South Stand End PPS: All the people who have Micah Richards in your team, rejoice. 5 Home games gone this season - Goals conceded = ZERO. Having a good defence really does wonders when you're a bit shite. :celb2:
  21. How the hell did that go in. Even without a deflection Lampard can still score goals by shooting directly at the middle of the goal. I swear he's sold his soul to the devil.
  22. Fuck! bluesigh.gif The jammy twats. They ought to be booted out of the Cup on principle.
  23. James G.Johnson Lescott Meite Barry Seol Fabregas Essien Petrov Drogba© A.Johnson I've seen it for a while with James - He is a superb goalie - Makes it to so many shots he has no right to save. Definetly the best English goalie when he's not going walkies. Glen Johnson has been labled as a bit of a tard for a while now, suprised to see him back to form. Drogba has been the revelation tho...so far improved on his previous showings. Barry was the tough one...I think he's looked ropey at times defensively but I don't think there are many other contenders. Would put him ahead of Baines tho.
