  1. Nah mate. He woke up in Sunderland.
  2. Makes the Festive period worth it. :fwap:
  3. Sorry, my ITK was wrong. His boot lace snapped.
  4. Might as well be. If we manage to sign him it'll be the work of those bastards.
  5. My understanding is that you could buy someone any time, just cant register them until the window opens? As far as I'm aware, if we wanted, and the other club agreed, we could probably have them over training with us until January. Although obviously I'd prefer he carried on playing competitive matches with their current club until January if we did strike a deal this early.
  6. Christ on a cross. It really is remarkable isn't it? Like we've got our very own Sir Ricky Sbragia. This man's got it. We need to do a forum exchange or something.
  7. Don't think many people have conceded defeat. I think in general, with our unbeaten streak, Spurs not doing badly at the moment, and my general pessimistic nature, we're due a defeat. But I don't think anyone denies that on our day we could beat them. Most of the compliments towards Spurs recently in this thread are just rebutting the ridiculously OTT optimism of how our team compares to theirs man for man.
  8. Got to be bemoaning his luck in a football sense. May have been handsomely paid for how much he's actually done over the years, and I'll always be grateful for having such a deputy at the ready for as long as I've followed football. But finally, once his long-term rival disappears, he gets a fantastic 22 year old breaking out a year later and he's back on the bench.
  9. Settle? I'd be ecstatic tbh. A point against a top 6 quality side, keep the unbeaten run going. More than happy. (Let's try and even out this ridiculous optimism that is making me scared we've jinxed ourselves )
  10. Mehdi looks like a kid that's managed to sneak into that picture. Barfa showing his bad attitude again. Seriously. Another Ranger. Get rid.
  11. I hear it was two stretchers, one for his body, one for his head. Oxygen mask attatched to his cock. Doubt for the bench next week.
  12. What a match. Genuinely didn't think he'd come along past that. Figured with this club's luck he'd be a one game wonder, and fall to shit any time he was called upon on in the future. So glad I was 100% wrong.
  13. More players in that top 10 than anyone. Ridiculous.

    Alan Pardew

Always kinda feel sorry for Harper. He's not good enough to play for us, granted, but still. He's demanded not to play away matches. Scum tbh.
  15. f*** sake. Have some realism, mate. CL, assault on the League and FA Cups and now the title? Pardew out if we don't achieve all of the above. Screw it. You've got a point.

    Alan Pardew

Very good point. Also don't understand the point of 'Pardew wouldn't have been appointed if he wasn't casino buddies with Ashley and Llambias'. It's not like Hughton was a much more calculated appointment. FWIW, I don't think there's much between the two of them. Both will make mistakes, both will get good and bad results, and ultimately, I think Pardew will just edge it in overall results for the reason Chez made, he's on the wavelength of the board, whether we consider it a good wavelength or not is a different question altogether.
  17. Fuck sake. Have some realism, mate. CL, assault on the League and FA Cups and now the title?
  18. Great interview. Glad we're signing players that understand the need for quality squad players in our push for the CL.
  19. Not going to argue with you there, Baba. Did crack up that 3 of the 5 misses were final day deals, so literally only had a month to try and slot into their teams. Only really posted it as I found the N'Gog stats funny.
  20. http://sport.uk.msn.com/msn-world-of-sport/summer-transfers-hit-or-miss#image=1 Some interesting bits. Particularly N'Gog's stats since his move to Fulham. One shot on target and a third of passes not reaching a team mate. Naturally annoyed at Cabaye being in there, only read it in the hope he'd pop up. A Jose Enrique has been a 'revelation' for Liverpool. Who is this lad? Is he really that good?
