Lifetime ban for nicking twelve quid of food is hilarious tbf.

As long as he doesn't have to do a PEDs test. The engine on him is unbelievable. What a player. Could easily call him for MOTM most matches.

If another club's fan has read/listened to what our fan base have to say about him and still think he'd be good for them then more power to them. His methods won't be any better suited to a Championship team than they were to us in the PL. The plastering of his company's ads for free, cutting of costs, lack of infrastructure investment will just have them fall behind their Championship contemporaries like he made us fall behind ours. Anyone that wants their club run as a 'business' by a 'businessman' who couldn't increase our commercial revenue in an era where every single club's income skyrocketed from just sitting on their hands, is more than welcome to the soulless bastard.

So happy I don't like the look of any of this new stuff after what I spent on the retro stuff.

Got to love the 'from a football perspective' caveat.

I actually cast an eye over our seasons the other day and I guess it depends on the context. Not really easy to compare the state of play now versus 70+ years ago. Purely looking at the end result, when we won the league in 1905 we were also FA Cup runners up. Our 1910 and 1951 FA Cup successes each coincided with a 4th place finish, too. So even discounting any context such as the FFP/PSR restrictions trying to intentially hold us down, it's sure as hell up there. Says it all that you need to go that far back for anything comparable, though.

Just discovered Gibraltar's awesomely-named FC Bruno's Magpies are merging and becoming Calpe City Magpies. How shite. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/F.C._Bruno's_Magpies

I feel like Sammy Lee would always get a fair amount of coverage while he was joined at Allardyce's hip.

First thought that went through my head. At least it wasn't earlier in the season or I could imagine him being the type to force himself back at the first opportunity even if not 100% and never giving himself a proper break to recover. Fingers crossed Tindall and the team can deliver another 6 points and a cushion from the chasing pack so he doesn't feel under pressure to return any sooner than he should.
-
It'd never even registered with me that Jones had worked under Tindall before. Makes even more sense why he seemed to slot in to Eddie's backroom staff so well.

Top man. All done. Now to just seal my inevitable loss with a pick.

@Groundhog63 Not sure if I'm being dense but the existing pool appears to say 'Closed' so I'm not sure if we can top it up:

Nah wherever you got that from I think it's a typo. It's £350k.

In and paid btw

Don't know if you noticed but you seem to have set up two tournaments. Is it worth deleting Tournament 3 if you can to avoid confusion? I assume Tournament 2 is the one to join as that's the one you're already in.

I've kind of revelled in the bitter comments from 'neutrals' on any NUFC-related social media post. Treating us like we're small time for daring to for celebrate this. Fans of teams that have won fuck all for almost as long or never. Fans of the usual suspects that have dominated this 'tin pot' cup for 17 of the last 20 years. People who choose to ignore the run of teams we had to face to get this. Get fucked, the lot of 'em. We're fuckin' massive.
-
Happy to wait and go in for a fiver and throw another 5 in the event of a rollover. Happy to go with the majority on how the pot is split. Can do PayPal.

Sorry Blaze. Unfortunately same as Liquid, I think I'll need to give this a miss after all. Haven't kept up so if you've factored me in to any costs already I'm happy to pay those so as not to leave anyone out of pocket.

Quite liked the idea until I saw these.

If his brain can catch up with his feet he could be so dangerous. He looks like a few we've had before where he's just as unaware of what he's about to do with the ball as everyone else. I like him. Clearly got something about him and I trust Eddie to help him out it all together.
