A few posters have backed up my words that Cabaye was totally non-existent tonight, not sure why you are so seething. Maybe when it comes from an opposition supporter it hurts more. It was nothing to do with Cabaye, and more to do with Pardew's Allardyce game plan. I'm not surprised you failed to spot it though seeing as compared to Bruce, Pardew probably looks like Jose Mourinho. Nah. He can't spot it because the kind of tripe we watched tonight doesn't compute to a technically-superior mackem.

He was pretty poor tonight yes, but your team hasn't won a match all season, so where do you get the balls to pipe up? He wasn't pretty poor at all. Everything he had to do, he did well. Wasn't a performance we know he's capable. But he wasn't awful. It's not the fact you pointed him out as non-existent, it's as if because a few people said they think he's got the ability to be world class, you're allowed to go the complete other way and call him nothing but invisible shite like it's fact. Hurts from an opposition supporter? Giving yourself too much credit, mate.

Just can't see it meself.

Raylor is a huge liability. He was awful. Why not give the natural left back, who also happens to be very talented, a shot? Just give over - you don't have a point. At all. I remember when Man Utd signed a superior highly-talented left-back, and he was torn apart by Sinclair (probably a similar standard then, to SWP now?) and was brought off half-time. Evra turned out pretty good mate. But he got thrown in too early!! We'll forget that, if you need to adapt to your new league/team, you're never going to properly do so until you start playing competitive matches.

Considering we've got another mackem in Randy Savage, and therefore fill our quota, can't we just ban him now, and pray Randy Savage doesn't revert to RTG stylee?
-
Have to admit I do worry about the overall lack of vocal leadership. We may have a few that, on form, could lead performance-wise, but we've got no one shouting, egging on, generally making themselves be heard.
-
Off to play with Gyan in the U.A.E No just lack of form i hope I still say he's already been snuck off, money in Del and Fat Boy's back pockets, and that's Smith.
-
He wasn't great, even by the not-so-sky high, promising performances he's given so far. But the way Wearside goes on, you'd think he was Henderson for them last season. Doesn't help with the absolute bypassing of him by the rest of the squad, like.

What a s*** post. You're trolling right? Please say you are because if you aren't then well, you're not a good reader of a football game at all. You'd be a footballing simpleton. Do yourself a favor and delete your original post. I promise I'll remove this the second it goes. Can somebody, anybody, please tell me what this lad does. I've now watched him in 4 games, Arsenal, Sunderland, Scunthorpe and QPR and he does nothing at all, he is barely ever involved in the game. Your midfield was completely over-ran today and Cabaye was non-existent. Are you 'Masterplan' on RTG? Or did you just C&P a post of his over to here. Identical. Not bothering to reply in detail. If you can't see it, you're not worthy of being spoon fed. Stick to focusing on GRIT, determination and other stuff along that mantra... And classiness. Don't forget classiness. Mind telling us what Gyan does?

Yes please Embarrasses himself beyond belief.

Gah  The idea that the Mackems with Bardsley and Cattermole are complaining of ungentlemanly conduct via view obstruction... Don't know where to begin. Am I mixing up games or do I remember them attempting the same thing, really shockingly, at the SoS this season? I seem to recall a team attempting it against us.
-
Why? Because he's shite? Aye
-
They will double team him like there's no tomorrow. Because there's no need to rush Santon. s*** post. Depends what you consider rushing to be... either a wise, let's not chuck him in straight away after a handful of days at the club in a Monday night live game against a pumped up opposition. That wouldn't be rushing. Or after a full week's training and preparation for the next game. That wouldn't wise considering our other option. It would be wise to play our best players at any given time. It's as simple as that. Shola and Raylor being absolute shit today was so predictable. And everyone, fucking everyone can see that we have better players just sitting there on the bench. Santon is a professional. He just played a full U-21 game, and did well. So we know he is match fit. I see your point with not training as much as he would've liked by now with the team, but if you have quality players in your side, play them. Especially when the ones playing is contributing nothing. And I mean nothing. Let's forget instances like Asprilla. It's not like he's been stuck training with a youth team at Inter before joining us. I don't believe the game has moved on that much in terms of fitness, tactics, whatever reason you want to give, that a newly signed player can't start or even come off the bench nearly a week after signing for us.
-
I'd sooner move Simmo to the left, Saylor to the right and bring Willo in (when fit of course) if it meant keeping Raylor out of the team. Continuity can get to fuck when it involves Ryan fucking Taylor.
-
He picked the wrong team, he was part of the problem. Ryan Taylor and Shola shouldn't have come out for the 2nd half as they were both as bad as they can get. Part of the problem - yes. He got things wrong today obviously. But I do wonder how much control people think managers have over individual players' performances. It isn't Football Manager or FIFA out there. When he knows that there's a high chance of said individual players' perfrmances being shit, like Shola, like Raylor, then yes, he takes responsibility.
-
Surprise. Didn't someone earlier shout Taylor was going to be their new scumbag after Barton left?
-
upped his game tonight and fair play. Some of his holding up was fantastic tbf, especially as QPR was hassling with two players on anyone who kept the ball for a little bit too long.
-
Read something about recovering from a niggling hip injury somewhere before this match. If he still has a niggling hip injury, the fucker just needs to retire. Fucking ridiculous.
-
Someone needs to tell the fucker it's September then, and he doesn't have to play shit again until January.

Ever considered supporting Stoke City? Or just looking at the numbers instead of watching the football? Honestly Nut, what part of Newcastle's football has pleased you this season? Possession? Steely midfield? Passing? Watertight defence? Precious few bright spots for me. If that makes me depressing as f***, then fine . One of Crumpy's Papering over the cracks threads wouldn't be out of place for me though. Results do actually count as part of the football you know You're just trolling now, you b****** Anyway, in case you're being serious, I refer you to Dave's Teletext post. Near verbatim for a post I made yonks ago. http://images.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/9945737.jpg In general, a point against a buzzing QPR who have also just stolen one of our best players from us would have been acceptable to me. A win was possible if we were at our best, but that's not football. Don't see how it's hard to understand that it's the manner, from both the manager's selections and tactics, and the team's performance in general, that is more than worthy of criticism tonight. Also, as pleased as I've been with our start, and we've shown glimpses of what our team can do at it's best, it's not been as fantastic as the points return suggests. We've more than ridden our luck a few times so far, before managing to kill off a game. Suppose we should be glad we can get points even when playing badly. But we also need to prove that we can win a game decisively, too.
-
It's genuinely been a decade. This fucker was being flogged to Championship sides 3 years ago. Why in the name of God is he starting for us still?
-
Just can't understand what's happen. But I don't like it.
-
I agree in part of this one up top idea by some, with Marv behind him. But I want to see Obertan dropped for at least this one match. Has some raw abilities there, but it's as if he feels he's already made it and doesn't have to do the work when off the ball, and it pisses me off something rotten. And I also want to see both Ba and Best in a whole game.
-
You can, and you should. What more could we have done in these last four games like? Win them all? You're a lost cause sometimes, man. Howay then, explain. No one is complaining about the points on the board. To wait until the results are on a par with the performances before you acknowledge/pipe up that there are problems which require addressing is folly. While of course we are happy, we can't just be happy with the points and ignore everything else. We have to look into the future and realise we're not going to get away with it every time like we have tonight.
-
Certainly not anywhere near his best today, but still more than reliable, and easily one of our best players. Says it all about the man, really.
