Toon's Taylor- what a laughably ignorant little scrote. Can't ebelieve some of the stuff he's come out with on this thread.

What happened to old Sheeps heart Pistone 1878? His contract runs out in the summer, after being injured for 18 months he is suddenly fit again
-
I've seen Milner turn in a few good performances on the trot a lot more recently than SWP has done Whether SWP would get back to his best with regular football and the confidence of his manager is another matter
-
Walter Smith I've heard Walter with Ally McCoist They must have completely missed the mess that Smith made of us when he had to work to a budget. Unless the Rangers chairman has just found £25m down the back of his couch it's a disaster waiting to happen.

Nuno has done well for us, good signing for the small fee we paid Barry & Taylor are better in midfield and Pogatetz has been much more impressive since moving to centre back, was nothing special at full back. I think Baines, Quedrue and Gardner are all good left backs. The rest are shite.

He was no more than average for Everton. That was about 7 years ago.

Not seen any of the action yet but what i'm reading in the match reports suggests that one of them (A Dunne challenge on Johnson) was probably a penalty. Obviously I'm not complaining but its nice for us to have a bit of a run of things going for us...2 games of solid defending won by 2 moments of pure quality followed by this. Have we been 'lucky' again? Have to wait for MotD. Overall the game sounded like a bit of a shitter but its nice to see George back in business. He's full of ability but he is a bit of a woofter at times (Somewhere inbetween Heskey and Luque). Haven't seen them myself, just listened on the radio and read the forums The Dunne on Johnson incident was supposedly a pen but apparently the Distin on Osman one was even more blatant but the ref bottled it because it was towards the end of the game. Sounded like a terrible match though, two very average sides.

I like Carson better too. Never seen him have a bad game. Can't say the same for Foster.
-
Please take Beattie. Please. I'd drive him up there myself.
-
Another two penalties turned down for us. Getting beyond a joke now.

Newcastle could turn their attentions to Everton striker James Beattie, with Liverpool unwilling to sell Peter Crouch. (The Times)

Yeah, St James' is a funny one. In a great location but was probably a pain in the arse in it's early days because it wasn't in a busy residential area

 Bollocks I was there and never heard anything directed at Martins, and I sit with all the asbo yoof in the Gwladys Street. My brother and his mates sit in the Park End (near where the away fans sit) and never heard anything. There was a lot of booing when the pen was being awarded/taken but no way were there any mokey noises. Sour grapes maybe. edit- just read it and it says it happened in the middle of the main stand blueeek.gif I always knew that Kenwright was a bastard. Seriously though, I doubt it's true. It's full of arl gaffs and is deadly silent. If you stand up and shout something about the match people look at you like you're on day release. So unless they saw people getting thrown out/arrested then monkey noises never happened.

Possibly because over 100 years ago when Anfield and Goodison were actually built the areas they are in (Anfield and Walton respectively) weren't shitholes?

"FA to investigate Emre 'racist' outburst allegations" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=425684&in_page_id=1779 Don't think it will be investigated unless a player complains, not just fans as they can't be sure what was said.

The north east is brilliant tbh. Streets paved with gold. Nearly as good as that London.
-
It's been happening at your place for years. Police asking to have a look at your ticket, putting it in their pocket and asking where your ticket is before arresting you is a particular favourite at St James'
-
I don't know whether what was said was racial abuse or just abuse but I've never seen Lescott react to anything before, he's usually the one calming people down but yesterday he looked like he wanted to kill Emre. Definitely wasn't just about waving a card.

You get it on every football forum despite 9 out of 10 rumours in the papers not happening

Big Vic tbh.

Bigger prick than Cahill? I sincerley doubt it. Emre has his faults but at least he isn't so much of a T*** that he thinks battering an inanimate object is clever. Yep. Not only does he do sly niggly challenges and mouth off like Cahill does, he also dives/play acts. And what is that muzzy about? It's like when you're 15 and some nob in your class is trying to grow one. Cahill is a complete c*** tbh I'm not denying that, it's good to have a cunt in your team to frustrate the opposition Some people on here are in serious denial about Emre though

My thoughts- Emre is the biggest prick in the league. How he never got sent off is beyond me. Looked like Butt raised his hands to Anichebe as well? Anyone see it on a stream?

Villa have had so many pens, half of them undeserved. Pisses me off that we get stonewall ones turned down just because the media are having a go at Johnson. Gareth Barry for the golden boot.

Melchiot was poor for Brum last season. Wasn't he getting booed by his own fans at one point? Then when he left he ended up at a mid table French team which says it all really.
