I reckon he's a good player, underrated. Was linked with Liverpool last season wasn't he? I think he's better than anyone you have currently got
-
No suprise that Beckham and Stam never got a mention
-
It would be great if we did sign him. Beattie and Davies wouldn't be missed, even if it means the squad is one shorter.
-
I'm still shocked it was Handball Henchoz's first ever red card
-
He was excellent for Everton, quality performances at left back and centre back. Then his knee fell off and we sold him to Rangers.
-
I don't like Pearce. Self styled "top bloke"
-
Seriously, can you stop calling them scousers? They're probably from Devon or Norway Cheers
-
Did Dunc actually twat anyone on the pitch for Newcastle or did he just save that for us?
-
Curios why you think Cahill is a cheat? He's not a diver. As for dirty, I don't remember any particularly naughty tackles from him he's just a wind up merchant- big mouth, gets in people faces, does the odd sly thing off the ball like putting Alonso in a headlock I'd much rather that than someone who makes injury causing tackles though.

Zenden is 4th choice in midfield behind Gerrard, Alonso and Sissoko. Fowler is 4th choice behind Kuyt, Bellamy and Crouch. Are you really surprised they're "shit players"? They're part of a squad who play over 50 games a season, players who are experienced and can come in and do a job when needed. Who is Newcastle's 4th choice center midfielder and 4th choice striker? I will guarantee that they're "shit players" too, because there is no way in hell any decent player who is capable of being a regular at a PL club be satisfied as a 4th choice on any team. Well except SWP who needs to grow some testicles and get the hell out of Chelsea. Playing shit is not doing a job in my book. Therefore they are not good squad members. It's quite simple. The point of the article was which players he signed were good and which were bad. Those three weren't good signings because they are not good players, simple as. I don't see what your problem is with that fact. All managers sign bad players. But don't worry, the rafalution is still on. The Sheikh is the final piece of the jigsaw, the corner has been turned, just one more player and all that jazz.

Jack Rodwell the Everton centre back is England captain. Supposed to be the new Rio. Plays in the age bracket above at club level, think he might have made the bench for the reserves recently as well.. not sure.
-
Kromkamp, Zenden and Fowler are all shit players. The fact they cost nothing is irrelevant.
-
It's a disgusting suggestion. Lets kill football clubs that have 100 plus years of history so that Sean Wright Phillips and Gabriel fucking Paletta can get a game. Nice one.

I've got a bet on Lyon

Said on the North West news it's rumoured to be a £70m takeover What exactly are they paying £70m for? They don't even own the ground, have a pretty sizeable debt and it's not like there are a load of star players with big value in City's squad. Bit of a strange one this.

I hope you're taking the piss Nah... Benfica are certainly the toughest out of them lot. They're a cracking side, and Man Utd only squeezed past them over there. They'd hammer us with 60,000 Portuguese blokes screaming them on. You could say the same sort of thing for the rest of them, but i'd rather have Bremen than Benfica. One off result imo. Benfica have struggled behind Porto and Sporting this season and last, think they were 5th(!) not long ago. Bremen will probably win the Bundesliga this year and they play some great football. Got 10 points from a group with Barca and Chelsea this season which is impressive. Would have deservedly beat Juve and reached the quarters last year if not for a clanger by the goalkeeper... I think they're top notch. If I was a Newcastle fan I'd be praying to avoid them.

I hope you're taking the piss

They give him a better reception than Evertonians do whenever we play them
-
Was he not coked off his tits at the time?
-
I thought Vaughan was taking the piss out of Anton Ferdinand with that celebration. I hope he was anyway
-
Southall should have been on that list. The only keeper there that was his equal is Schmeichel
-
He would be humiliated by the pace of our league.

Beattie has never played on the right of midfield. Ever. When he's played for us this season it's always been a 4-4-2 with Johnson and in the last couple of games McFadden. Recently one of our kids, Anichebe has contributed far more purely because he actually looks interested. Beattie is so lazy and barring a purple patch last season when he was trying to make the World Cup squad has done nothing for us. I'd be happy to get shut of him. We could replace him with someone who would suit AJ better. The two of them don't work and there's only one choice as to who you'd keep. I think he'd improve at Newcastle purely because you've got proper wingers and we haven't. But his shit attitude and work rate would be the same.
-
Buying him so other two can't have it seems to me. Theyve got Ferreira,Geremi,Bouhlarouz already at RB so not an essential position for them Chelsea need centre back cover after losing Huth and Gallas. Bouhlarouz could move back to the centre which is his proper position, not right back. Neil can play both centre back and full back there and would probaly be happy mostly on the bench at a club that challenges for honours. Also the added bonus of denying Liverpool a player they wanted.

He's shite mate. Must have been signed to serve up the jellied eels (is that kosher?) at the training ground.
