Refuse to get sucked in. Something will come out soon to shoot it down, absolutely nailed on.
-
He'll be sacked if we're looking doomed by mid-March, when it's too late.
-
The defending is far more to blame, for me. It's not like we're caught completely off guard by ASM losing it, still had more than enough players back to defend the attack.
-
Would rather play Italy in the final than Spain like, we always struggle against their brand of football. Not that getting there is by any means a foregone conclusion mind.
-
Denmark will be a big test like. We've done pretty much everything right so far, especially defensively, but a bit like the last World Cup, I still don't really feel like we've been fully tested. Germany were/are very average and Ukraine just rolled over tonight. Not 100% convinced but we're building some good momentum and improving with each match.

Italy are by far the best "team" in the tournament.
-
I thought Italy would do well coming into it, but they've exceeded my expectations. They're by far the best "team" I've seen so far. France have better individuals but Italy are much more well-drilled IMO, I think they'd beat them.

Does sound like the kind of thing I would do tbf

Turned it off straight away when he went down, flashbacks to Vivien Foe immediately. The fact that the cameras were still rolling 10 minutes later is a disgrace.
-
Might've made sense to scrap it during Covid when home advantage has been less impactful. In general would prefer to keep it though.
-
This would be the perfect time for him to walk away tbh. Resign now having finished decently before it all goes to shit next season; he's got to know the collapse is coming after we have an inevitably shite transfer window, missing out on Willock and probably losing ASM and/or Almiron.
-
Always happy to see teams with shit camera angles relegated.
-
Great stuff. Even looking beyond their silverware in recent years, Leicester are the epitome of what we can only dream of Newcastle being. A club full of people who care, from top to bottom, and want give it their best possible crack on the pitch.
-
Would have been an achievement if he'd managed to get a team with Wilson, ASM, Almiron, Willock and a reasonably okay defence relegated tbh. Shouldn't even have been close.
-
So your response to Wullie ridiculing the pure la-la-land that is the takeover thread, is to spam the forum with posts that are factually accurate and non-fantastical for a change? Interesting.
-
There's a difference between kicking someone in the head to defend yourself, and continuing to kick them in the head with "increasing force" when they're - by all accounts - already down and very likely unconscious after being blasted by a taser for five times the recommended amount time, like.
-
Disgusting team PSG like. No discipline whatsoever. Been second best in every area of the pitch today. Neymar has been shite again too.
-
What's the point in VAR if not to overturn decisions like that? Red was clearly given based on the reaction from the player fouled, not the foul itself.
-
Disgraceful second half from PSG like, absolutely lost the plot
-
Haven't really thought it through in depth like if you could only use it a limited number of times a game, probably not unless there was some certainty. The decision would still be reviewed and have to be correct.
-
Would probably rather VAR was limited to managers being able to contest two decisions per team, per game or something. Current format is shite and used so inconsistently that I'd almost prefer it to have a semi-tactical implementation, rather than analysing every toe, finger and arm whenever a goal is scored.

Gouffran. Not because he's the worst player we've had by any means, but because of the players he kept out. Constant source of annoyance seeing his name on the team sheet.
-
I want to see Ashley and Bruce relegated, but not the club. I'm torn.
-
Bet he's right though, unfortunately.
