    Jeff Hendrick

Plays exactly the way you'd expect a footballer called Jeff Hendrick to play.
  2. Nah, it's shite. Watching on tele is far more than a watered down experience. I'd pay a small fortune for a ticket to a music festival but I wouldn't pay to watch the show on tele, you're paying for the live experience, the day out. For a company that hate their product being pirated as much as the Premier League do, they're incredibly gifted when it comes to pushing people towards it. It's so easy to find a stream nowadays that anyone paying £15 to watch Steve Bruce's Newcastle play wants throwing in a looney bin. But if you don’t normally go, you’d not be watching anyway. If you do normally go, you’re not paying for tickets. I’d have probably paid £5 a match, think they’ve priced themselves out saying £15. I’ll just watch the normal dodgy route if I’m that bothered. They've been offering these games for free because of the pandemic, suddenly charging for them when nothing has changed is obviously going to cause ill will. In fact, all it'll do is cause Jeff to invite his mates around to watch the match on the sly to save them all paying £15.
  3. Mainly to the clubs, but TV companies need their costs covering etc. The TV companies will have been absolutely raking it in over the last few months. Their costs will be more than covered.

  5. Darlow is an okay back up, but is clearly miles behind Dubravka in every single metric that you could possibly judge a goalkeeper on. And for that reason, Bruce will pick him for the rest of the season.
  6. Ben Arfa is a more technically gifted player, but if they were both at their very best and surrounded by top players, I'd prefer to have ASM as his pace and power make him almost entirely unplayable.

Going to end up disliking this bloke because of Bruce. Should never, ever be on the right wing in a premier league team.
  8. ASM and Almiron should be playing just behind Wilson. It's the most painfully obvious thing I've ever seen and would help nullify our glaringly obvious weaknesses elsewhere in the team.
  9. A good manager would have had ASM nowhere near Lamptey. ASM should be stood in their half waiting for us to attack, not pissing about pretending to be a wingback.
  10. Our midfield, if we even have one, has been an absolute disgrace
  11. Almiron needs to be on the pitch here, ridiculous decision to leave him out.
  12. Absolutely there has been a change in tone and content over the last few months. I would guess that the owner of the account is either being fed snippets from an insider, or they have allowed their account to be used by someone else who is connected. Or it's the same person as before, they got a few vague tweets right and are now riding on the ITK wave.
  13. Either the PL feel very confident in the stance and position they are taking or they didn't think that Mike Ashley would actually take it legal. The PL wanted to drag it out until it was either dropped by the buyers or settled by appeal one way or the other, so they could make it look like it wasn't their decision whichever way it went. Not sure they expected legal action.
  14. Come on, we didn't just do that. We did go direct at times but that's just nonsense. Aye, that's a terrible take tbh we played some decent stuff.
  15. Yup. Two elbows in six minutes. Both connected. Second one was more of an arm than an elbow, like
  16. Bayern to smash PSG 5-0 in the final with Neymar left in tears please.
  17. Can't see any of the remaining teams stopping this Bayern side like. PSG and City would both have to play at a level they've never reached in this competition before, even then I think they're too good going forward for them.
  18. It's clear that the consortium made this deal very difficult to wave through at almost every turn like. Feel like if we weren't dealing with a potential bottomless pit of money, and for instance, the deal had been led by Peter Kenyon or someone of that ilk, people would be lambasting their role in the way this has played out.
  19. I think the FA's silence may actually be a good thing fwiw. I'd imagine if the deal was completely dead in the water, they'd have came out with a generic statement by now just to stop the flack.
  20. This guy isn’t buying us He has no money or credibility. Sounds like the perfect candidate.
