So apparently we need to take out Jermaine Jones and then the game will be ours to win.

Anyone else on here who is on the lanky side and finds it hard to get a good amount of legroom in SJP? Where are the best seats for long-legged people like me? I've tried both Leazes corners, Gallowgate middle tier and level 7. Think the best ones so far would have to be being the Leazes goal in the wheelchair section but that's too low for a decent view of the whole game.

Don't know how to break this to you, madras...Swarfega's not available mate, long-term sick. Been feeling a bit green, apparently.

That's the crux of it for me. The same players who could barely even be bothered to break a sweat are now running through walls for Kenny. It's fucking sickening and they've cheated Hodgson out of his job. They've also cheated their own fans but they're too fucking thick to even realise it. Could you say the same about our club, I wonder?

Brilliant stuff. You think you do? I think it helps. Have you ever studied history? Most people give opinions on events that have happened in the past. Video evidence helps but it is not essential especially when you are considering somebody's merits as a football manager. All of which is irrelevant to the original point I made of course, which is not no-one has to respect Dalglish. Who would want to? He's Scottish and looks like an alcoholic.

That sounded like something that was shouted at him in Court...

Was miles better than Souness, Gullit and Allardyce. He was on a hiding to nothing. He was rebound guy. Wasn't even given a decent welcome, and the board were more interested in floating the club. Absolutely agree. It's been quite irritating watching people slagging off his time here at NUFC, the guy has a better track record as manager than many of the 8 or so different managers we've had in the past 7 years. Looks to me like people are letting their anti-Liverpool prejudices blind their vision of him as a manager and as a footballing legend. Sad, really. Why would we care if he's a footballing legend? None of that status was earned at Newcastle so I couldn't give a toss about him. Basically, this... "Looks to me like people are letting their anti-Liverpool prejudices blind their vision of him as a manager and as a footballing legend. Sad, really." How is it 'sad' though? Fans will always hate players/fans from other clubs, Sunderland fans will hate/disrespect Shearer for eternity, who cares? I don't see how its sad really and if you think it is, surely the think the whole thread is sad. Should we be mocking/disrespecting a great club like Liverpool? Do what you like, mate. You're twisting my words and my meaning to suit your own agenda, and I really can't be arsed with you. When's your 18th birthday? Couple of years yet so stay away mate. If you're really that young, how can you be so embittered and warped of vision by that age? It's the way of the world. More to the point, how can you talk such utter bilious s*** about Dalglish when you never saw him play, or manage Liverpool or Blackburn...? What crap have I said about Dalglish? I said no-one has to respect him for what he's done, that's all. Yeah. That's right. You did.

Thats a way to say he's still on the books, but he doesn't get paid, but they are waiting for him to quit so they don't have to pay him any money. It's a strange one, they did start off well and haven't really gained any sort of consistent form, but still it's a strange one. i would have thought that they would have been fairly happy that they are not in the relegation zone and stand a chance of staying up. I thought on 'Gardening Leave' you were still paid... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garden_leave Usually, but I'm sure they we get around it somehow. By sacking him And the fact you're suggesting that means at least one other person in this thread accepts the basic premise that Di Matteo hasn't actually been sacked yet.

McInnes is a great manager, and tbh I hope he doesn't take the job, as WBA would old chew him up and spit him out, whereas if he stays at the Saints he could well have them competing for a European slot next season.

But he's no longer the manager. Yes, but he hasn't been sacked.
-
He's not actually been sacked though.

Looks like another one for Dalglish...
-
As of right now, the thread title is wrong. Sorry to be pedantic, but there's a rather large difference between being sacked and being placed on gardening leave.
-
Slim pickings around here these days, tbh. "Disappointed" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel right now.
-
Should make the lad captain, tbh.
