PLEASE! Just thought I'd be the first to wish Sam good luck in his (hopefully) new career. Come on Croatia. -

I hope Croatia beat England and England fail to qualify. -
What a pair of useless fuckers they were. Now gainfully employed by...? http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/Newcastle-ready-for-transfer-spree.3504612.jp

Is the Israel v Russia game on TV?

I'd rather get rid of Sam as he's crippling the Club. Yep, ruined all the good work Souness and Roeder did. Well, he's making the very same mistakes.

3 past NUFC players who would transform the current team?

Robert, Beardsley and Ferdinand. (Bellamy coming off the bench mind!) -
It was well under way by then.

I personally admire SBR and will freely accept that some of the football played under him was exciting to watch (Bellamy and Robert his prized signings - not many will accept them two as good/popular signings though eh?) Feyenoord was likely the best game I've ever been to. But you must also accept that Robson didn't come cheap - he 'lost' the dressing room and there is a very solid argument that he might have gone a lot sooner. Think of the Partizan defeat, losing to WBA (a division below) at home after playing a weakened team. Fourth place was there for the taking yet from Christmas of his final full season he couldn't get the results to get us 4th (Liverpool got 4th and ....) Typically Shepherd and Hall fucked up his sacking - he should have been asked to leave at the end of the previous season without a doubt that was there biggest mistake. I really think that folk put on their rose tinted glasses where SBR was concerned and fail to see the whole picture yet I'll accept that over his whole career he proved he was a good manager and unfortunately for us we couldn't get him post Keegan.

Our best ever Champions League finish, that's what he brought to the club and it shouldn't be forgotten. Always be grateful for that Feyenoord match. I dont think I have shouted so loud as when that 3rd goal went in. Pur and utter delerium just doesnt explain it properly. You can trace the decline from that game onwards towards him being sacked. That was the night he seriously fell out with Nobby.

If anyone thinks SBR came to NUFC to save this failing club then you are indeed deluded. SBR has one master and that master is MONEY

Allardyce is yesterdays man appointed by yesterdays Chairman. His game plan is as obvious as the nose on a jews face. He was rumbled at Bolton and he knew it.
-
This could be the start of a bad run. Liverpool, Blackburn and Arsenal are all very losable games. It will make our piss poor away form come home to roost. It will inevitably put our thick as pig shit one dimensional manager under immense pressure.

A job at the Nou Camp for the El Toonio Ultrios.

With home support like this, what chance has anyone got of succeeding here?

Is there a set of supporters who have seen as many overpaid and underperforming players as us lot? It doesn't take much to get disgruntled simply because it's the same old, same old! Throw into the mix a manager who yet again can't get the basics right - playing players out of position, never his fault, poor tactics, etc and you can easily see how the natives become quickly unsettled. Anyone else get the feeling we've been here before? -
Sam - 2 Yesterdays man I'm afraid. I doubt he has the capability to 'surprise' many with innovative on-pitch tactics. Cacapa - 5 but I doubt he'll get back in the immediate future. Pompey (and now the Premiership) had his lack of muscle and pace sussed big style. Roze 7 Looks the best of the new signings. Faye - 4 You get what you pay for. Beye - 4 Gets caught hopelessly out of position. Viduka - 5 A financial liabilty, good player never fit. Smith - 1 Seen nothing off him yet to suugest that £6m hsn't been spunked away. Barton - 5 Only because he's played so little so far. 8/9 hopefully! Enrique - 6 Get a settled left winger to let an understanding develop and I think he'll benefit.

Sams Bolton record from the Xmas til he quit.

and that means quite what exactly.....? He might just have been found out. Some very poor teams have took the piss out of us this season to be fair. -
Not very impressive if what I was told by the pub statistician last night has any semblance of truth.

They bought it off the club too didn't they? I remember reading something about this somewhere.
