  1. TT, I normally agree with the vast majority of stuff you post but Martin O'Neill would be a f***ing disaster in my opinion. He's an utter c***. An absolutely despicable little cretin who plays a s**** brand of football. Appreciate I'll be in a majority of one with this view but if I hate the little f***er. I think MON comes into the category of be careful what you wish for Too true he does. 4-4-2 with players played out of positions, obvious favourites getting a game every week, a lennon, a heskey, a fast winger or two and a chip bigger than Norn Iron on his shoulder. No f***ing thank you. I suppose you'd rather have Pardew or Curbishley would you? Right now MON is the best of a bad bunch and I for one pray he's stupid enough to be interested. Why do you suppose that? You know nothing about me. I don't want any one of them. I wouldn't want any one of them running the f***ing under 9's team. Likewise, but with some of the names being talked about at the moment MON would be a very pleasant surprise He'd be as pleasant a surprise as coming home to see your house has been on fire, it's burnt out but the fucking doormat isn't singed to bits.

  4. AND he fucking hates Fat Mike, doesn't need the cash, won't work with a pack of cunts for a board and knows we were probably overachieving before the sacking.
  5. The fans will fucking hate him. He'll get a fucking dogs abuse from the off.
  6. Wouldn't last 6 months. For all the right reasons, he'd be best off mowing the training the training pitches than sullying his name working for Ashley.
  7. Obviously had this in mind for sometime haven't they? I hope Golfmags source is seriously wrong because his initial posts were around the time of Calderwood leaving and not getting replaced. I'm hoping 2+2 = 10 on this one.
  8. Silly thread. Surely a reasonable popular, sensible (from a PR perspective) and very cheap manager would be seen as a positive if you were about to flog the club. A more expensive, less popular or worse in front of the cameras manager would create a cost for any buyer straight away.

    Joey Barton

I just cant believe that when both have publically sung his praises and both are 'proper' players who want to play football. I really can't.
  10. Unless its someone with real calibre and integrity they won't stand a fucking chance, the fans will absolutely rinse them as will the players. Fucking disgrace handling again by the silly fat cunt.

    Chris Hughton

You deserved so much better Chris. Huge dignity shown through all of the shite you've probably had to deal with behind the scenes and you've done yourself and your reputation nothing but good. Best Wishes.
  12. TT, I normally agree with the vast majority of stuff you post but Martin O'Neill would be a fucking disaster in my opinion. He's an utter cunt. An absolutely despicable little cretin who plays a shite brand of football. Appreciate I'll be in a majority of one with this view but if I hate the little fucker. MON was an example, though I do think he'd be a good appointment, I do worry about his style of football but he'd establish us as a premiership team again imo and that's all i worry about. Considering the other options we'd be getting off lightly if its MON. Ideally some up and coming Jose Mourinho from abroad but Ashley hasn't got the knowledge or the connections to find such a person, so really its what's at our door and MON is the highest profile British manager out there for me. I'll be sick if its Pardew. You'll not be the only one mate. I know what you're saying about O'Neill I just hate the little fucker.
  13. Sam Allardyce. I hate the guy but he's entitled to that opinion. Its Luke Edwards so it'll be Steve Bruce man.

  15. This will kill the players morale. They seemed to have a real affinity with Hughton and are bound to be royally fucked off with the decision. When the club spirit is just starting to get back a semblance of normality, when things are ticking over ok, when there's been no headlines..............................who ya gonna call...................Clubbusters!
  16. Obvious that Carroll led with his elbow into Scharner after Scharner had given him two mans challenges that put him in his pocket all afternoon, Carroll even had to cheat for the consolation goal, never mind, he can go and beat up some women now to get his manliness back! Scharner owned Carroll! Learn to win with grace you've talked a lot of tosh since the game. 'Man challenges'? Are you Alan Hansen or something? Just take a look at some of your predictions before the game to learn about grace, some decent posters on here but some are very, very misguided about where we both sit in the footballing world! I came on here and praised you when you got promotion, misguided no, honest yes. Carroll has done very well this season, but he was taken down a peg or two today, will probably do him good in the long term. Thanks for the wisdom oh wise one. Time to stop fishing for a reaction and fuck off.

    Steven Taylor

Think this "facade" is something people like you have made up tbh. Would certainly have him starting fwiw. Better than Williamson and Campbell without a doubt. Beyond this forum where everyone has jumped on a Taylor hate bandwagon I don't there's many fans who hate him tbh. People don't dislike him because he's a "local hero" but because when he does play he gives his all and is an average Premier League defender. Average is good for us currently. And you don't pay average players fantastic wages. Unfortunately if Coloccini is going to be paid £80k a week, Taylor is probably within his rights to ask for £50k a week. In terms of the average wage for a decent Premier League defender it probably is way over the top but I don't think we can afford to let him go and reduce our options even further. When Colo signed his contract he did so at the peak of the market. He'll have to take a cut to stay when the time comes. Taylor is re-negotiating in a new market and I hope his offer is nowhere near £50k.
  18. His post-match interview now up on the BBC.
  19. I'm willing to wager that he does that because there's jack-all movement around him. I'm also willing to wager that he'd prefer to be sitting with spelks in his arse from the Twente bench than play alongside Puffrie again. Simply awful
  20. I can see Wolves putting a run together for sure. We're in for a serious struggle imo. You can see Wolves putting a run together but it's something we're not capable of? Not sure what's funny about that tbh. They're in desperate need of finding last seasons form but you just know that MM will get something out of them and they'll not disappear like Avram Grants lot could. We don't look like being capable of putting a run together at the minute. What's MM waiting for then? We're seven points ahead of them and are missing half our first team, once we get those players back we'll get some more good results, IMO. What are Wolves waiting for? 1. They've not been playing dreadfully. 2. They won't go down with a wimper. 3. One win and their heads will be up and I think MM will have them believing. I'm not saying they're f***ing Chelsea here, just that they'll probably put a run together. You could say the most of those things about us. I don't see how were are seemingly a team of lazy mercenaries wheres Wolves are plucky battlers that'll get there in the end. Wolves may be playing well but isn't that even more worrying for them? Playing as well as they can and still not getting points. I'm sure most Wolves fans would kill to be in our position. Where did I say we were 'lazy mercenaries'? I said 'seemingly', you seemed to be implying that Wolves would be up for the battle but we wouldn't. I'm not having a go I just think you're giving them too much credit. I think they'll push on when they get a result because MM will hammer it into them, I question CH's ability to do this to our lot given the predictably s**** results/performances that follow every good result. Consistent teams finish in the top 6-8. If we followed our good results with more good results we'd be about 4th! If we won every game, we'd be top of the league. My concern is the complete lack of consistency in performances, despite having so many opportunities to push on. We're either on fire or shite with little inbetween AND we're dropping points against team we shouldn't be.

How are we getting these good results you refer to then? Good performances from the majority of the side Dave. Why can't they do that against the poorer sides in the league?

  24. It's our form against other bottom half teams that worries me. If the top 6 hit some consistency after the turn of the year we'll be in trouble with the points we've handed to teams like Stoke, Wigan and WBA.
