I really couldnt give a shit what he has to say as I wouldnt trust a word he says, Im only interested in what he actually does
-
The thing is, that at least with Keegan you always thought 'we can win this' no matter who it was against exactly the same players and you think we are gonna struggle against Blackburn/hull /anyone and no Im not wanting him back now
-
Yes he is, well apart from the stikers who cant hold up the ball, or the toothless midfield
-
After careful consideration I think the main question that needs to be adressed is Do they show championship games on sky or online?
-
You mean "did" very well do some work
-
Considering Enrique had to spend the majority of the match with a dodgy yellow card hanging over him and had to be careful, he done very well. Its so easy to get booked when playing against a tricky player with pace.

It wouldnt surprise me if someone has made a reasonable offer and given Ashley a deadline, and hes set his own to see if there are any other better/serious offers

How can that not fill you with confidence? If Keegan says something similar about squad players that we don't all rate, which he did on several occasions, then he gets hailed as a great motivator. I don't rate Ameobi or Taylor that highly, but I can't disagree with too much of what Kinear says there or, more importantly, his reasons for saying it. I wish everyone would stop trying to put a negative spin on every fucking piece of news or quote that we get (no specifically aimed at you dilligaf) Oh I agree about the negative spin all the time, and that hes just trying to boost certain players confidence, its just the Ameobi - Potential and esp the 'will be a key part' that doesnt give me much confidence

seems to be a lot of Kinnear quotes about, this one dont exactly fill me with confidense Newcastle United boss Joe Kinnear says local lads Shola Ameobi and Steven Taylor will be a key part of his team in the coming weeks. He said: “I have been working with the defence all week and I have been saying to Tayls that I want him to be more vocal, to have more presence and to organise the back four. “He’s got a great future ahead of him in the game and this is a great chance for him to show us what he can do. Shola Ameobi is another one. He’s got enormous potential – he’s a big strong athletic lad and if we can sort out his head he could be awesome for us. “I know people have said some things about the lad but this is his chance. He’ll get fantastic service from quality players in this team and my message to him is that he can be a real handful if he believes in himself. It’s an incredible opportunity for him.”

did I just hear right that Kinnear has got a 2 match touchline ban from the last time he managed

It could be that Hughton might not want to do the caretaker job anymore and his current extra responsibilities must be having an effect on the job he's actually paid to do. In the current situation freeing Hughton of those duties could be more important than the job Kinear himself does. There may actually be some logic in that. For what it's worth I think we will beat Blackburn tomorrow, so hopefully he will inherit a team on a winning "streak". not so much a streak more a casual stroll

Ok lads, enough's enough, whos really been appointed?

Do some fucking work Kettle - pot Im having the day off
-
would find it hard supporting a team in red and white stripes
-
Thats the easy bit, the most important part of a managers job is to decide when things go wrong, as they will at some time, do you just plod along waiting for the sack and the compo, or say 'fuck it, Im off' and possibly get nothing

Im just pissed off that the season started so promising, we were never gonna win anything but we were playing some decent football and there was a chance we could grab a euro spot, now were playing shit the clubs in a mess and our target is avoiding relegation to mid table, Im completly fed up with this blame game, and want things sorted one way or another.
-
not trying to put a dampener on that but by then we could be 6 points adrift at the bottom unless things are sorted out soon
-
tried that, the buggers wont go

All we know for sure is that he paid off 57mil on the ground because he had no choice in the matter, he says hes paid 110mil we dont know he has, and as for the 20mil a year, Ive used that tactic myself with the kids 'I was gonna buy you some sweets but seeing as youve played up Im not going to now'
