  1. His running of the club didnt start this season, so overall he's still on a 0 at most
  2. He had the money at the time but like most investors lost quite a bit when the global ecenomy dipped. Really? Shepherds only worth that now after getting his pay off from Ashley, Im pretty sure he didnt have the sort of money to buy the club outright back then, and as Quayside said thats only his interpretation that shepherd wanted to sell, Its not a proven fact
  3. Did he have the money for a buyout? or did he buy the max he could afford?
  4. Exactly, I really dont see why a lot seem to think he is naive, He's a chancer who got his fingers burnt because he wouldnt listen, and Llambias is only his mouthpiece
  5. you would have definatly saved it then
  6. Major surgery? It didnt take a tactical mastermind to play Shearer and Ferguson and not have them on the bench

    No. 1 striker

    We've got a striker?
  8. Again, a nautical term from the days of sea-faring wars. rubbish..it's from the days of remote control boats at paddy freemans when you had to identify your frequency with little coloured flags on a board so you didn't conflict with the controls of another boat. i believe it also happens in the high revving world of remote controlled cars.(or at least it used to....and no i didn't have a boat, a friend did) Cool, Sir Walter Scott had a remote controlled boat 200 years ago i wasn't being serious you know. I didnt think you were

  10. Money and buy the knowledge
  11. 'A preliminary discussion' that would probably be, 'we'll give you £50 mil'
  12. Think Ill stick with 'Comfortably Numb' - Pink Floyd or for Ashley , 'Asshole'- Dennis Leary
  13. The way this club is run the $1,000 is probably on its way to you now
  14. He thinks Kinnear put the club back on track!!! what fucking track would that be?
  15. Sorry if posted elsewhere but these ratings are so wrong http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1676557,00.html#continue
  16. Was gonna say 'Comfortably Numb' .... Floyd
  17. new thread topic? apt pre-match music my votes with "the final countdown" by europe 'Down Down' ...Quo
  18. I should think that youd get more next season under Shearer in the championship than Kinnear in the premier, I know what Id rather watch
  19. He did get one win in 7 which is better than our 1 in 12, so hes gotta be a candidate.
  20. Egil Olsen said today that the Norwegian national team is most likely his last manager job. Also he isnt up for a job like this one. He also succeded Kinnear at wimbledon, and we all know where they are now. they were just the worst premier league managers I could think of, (Im just trying to get into the current regimes mindset)
