  1. He's not a winger though so I suppose Spurs will either have to stick him in CM with Hudd/JJ or change their formation. He can play left wing by all accounts and since they have no-one else who can I imagine that's where he'll play. New GK Hutton - King - Woodgate - Bale Lennon(?) - Jenas - New CM - Modric Berbatov - Keane Can see them finishing in the top 6 easily I would be suprised if Berbatov was there
  2. No changes from Man Utd Drogba will get the next goal

  8. Probably already posted but more KK quotes from today We really put our two lists together because they have got a massive expertise in Europe. "While on one list we have got all the top ones, they are looking at the ones who maybe you can get who will be the next top ones, but are younger. When we put them together, it was quite interesting. "That's it now. If someone asks me how we are getting on with our targets, I can honestly say, 'I don't know' because I am not party to that. But I will know the minute they are complete or have failed, I guess - hopefully complete."
  9. By posting these links you are only helping Anal come up with his next story "toon bid not enough" according to my inside (s*** hole) source. He is also helping us know what is going on though
  10. Well we were supposed to be continuing negotiations today so hopefully we have a breakthrough
  11. Who Modric? I don't think we can draw that conclusion. When i read it i thought it was more like we have an interest but thats as far as it as gone hope im wrong like
  12. Doesnt really tell us much but would seem we are no were near signing him at the moment
  13. Keegan Speaks KEVIN Keegan today labelled Newcastle United target Luka Modric one of the brightest midfield prospects in Europe. The 22-year-old made a hush-hush visit to the club's training ground earlier this week with a view to a record £20m move to St James's' Park. And Keegan, speaking ahead of tomorrow's visit to West Ham, admitted his interest in the Croatia international. He told the Gazette: "If you had a list of the midfield players around Europe who Newcastle could possibly attract, Luka Modric would be one of them. "I think he would be pretty much on any list. If you look at the midfield players who have a fantastic future, he would be one of them. "But every other club in the league would also be looking at him." Keegan was asked about a report today linking him with Barcelona striker Thierry Henry. He joked: "It looks fantastic doesn't it? It's been fantastic around the training ground this week, with Thierry Henry and Deco here for lunch. "But let's get back to reality. I think the Thierry Henry story came from a talk-in I did when a 10-year-old kid asked me if there was one player I would could fetch in, who would it be? "I said Thierry Henry, and from there we're now signing him. "If Mike Ashley came down (to the training ground) he could have lunch with me and Thierry Henry. "It's nice because people believe we can get big-name players, but we have just got to keep it real and not let people draw us down one-way streets. "But there's no point parking players here who are squad players. A few people rang me and said they had really good squad players, but we have got enough squad players here."
  14. Bloke reiviwing the papers on Setanta- does it on SSN as well sometimes said that Modric was in newcastle yesterday also mentioned we are in for Henry and Huntelaar
  15. Isn't Deco one of the pissheads/'partyboys' at Barca btw? Supposed to be aye
  16. That would be quite difficult
  17. I had a dream last night that i bough the shirt with Modric 8 on the back
  18. KEVIN KEEGAN has reacted to securing Newcastle United's Premier League status by moving quickly on the transfer front in an attempt to strengthen his squad ahead of the new campaign. And it is a sign of his intentions that the Magpies boss, who heads to West Ham tomorrow without any fear of relegation, is courting two players with a combined worth of around £40m. Newcastle's representatives have already met up with the vice-chairman of Dinamo Zagreb, Zdravko Mamic, and attacking midfielder Luka Modric in the hope of acquiring the highly-sought after player. But the negotiations are not going to stop there. Dennis Wise, Newcastle's director of football, has also renewed the club's long-standing interest in another of European football's hottest properties, Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. He first emerged on to the Tyneside radar when Glenn Roeder was in charge, with the forward's team-mate Urby Emanuelson also monitored. Since then Roeder's departure and the ill-fated reign of Sam Allardyce led to Newcastle cooling their interest, but now there has been a fresh move for the gifted Huntelaar. It is understood that there has been an enquiry for the 24-year-old from St James' Park, although Ajax are in no rush to sell having recently broadened their wage structure. The Amsterdam giants also know that with Manchester United and Real Madrid also in the hunt for his services, their £18m valuation could soar over the coming months
  19. Supposed to be in talks with Dinamo again today to try and negotiate price fingers crossed
  20. Also in Daily Express DAILY EXPRESS Kevin Keegan has targeted two of the biggest young stars in European football - Croatia's Luka Modric and Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - in a bid to break the monopoly of the Premier League's 'big four'.
