We bought Isak because Wilson got injured. The initial plan was to buy a young backup to Wilson (Pedro).

They also have a truly world class manager (not a slight on Howe).

Given our away record and performances, I would say it’s a strong possibility we do go 3 in a row without scoring tbh.

The whole Wilson thing is kind of on the club though. His injury record has always been poor, to not look to upgrade sooner is the reason we are now stuck with him. Hopefully a lesson learned though.
