Stealing a living for years is incredibly harsh. Didn’t he get 18 goals to help us in the champions league?
-
Hall definitely, I think Tino has looked better at LB for us than at RB tbh.
-
Pretty fair discussion on here imo.
-
Personally would be against moving Gordon. He was our best player last season and his numbers were brilliant. I’d prefer to play the best players in their best position.
-
Possibly, but then we bid for Elanga so who knows.
-
I’d argue RW was more of a priority than signing Barnes, Hall and Tino last summer mind.
-
Aye I get that, but that suggests it’s difficult to find a RW out there that improves us. I’d disagree strongly on that.
-
In terms of us improving RW, the pool out there to do so is pretty big. For us to not do so is a failure, no excuses for it imo.
-
The stadium announcement will tell us all we need to know tbh.
-
Neither Gordon or Barnes are comfortable RW though. I think it’s clear Howe doesn’t want one of them out there either.
-
Kelly for Krafth if that was the set up imo.
-
Cup, so I’ll take a draw here.
-
Nonsense. If anything, returning from serious injury every time shows his strong mentality.
-
Didn’t Mitchell allude to it himself in his interview? I think we definitely favour the home market. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Tonali deal put us off looking abroad summer just gone.
-
I get that way of thinking, but with the rules the way they are right now, the gap between ourselves and the big 6 will at best stay as it is. I genuinely don’t think we can close the gap enough with the way things are at the moment.
-
I hope you’re right, however the noise coming out regarding the January transfer window aren’t suggesting this at all.
-
No thanks
-
I mean we won more with Burn at LB, I wouldn’t want to see him back there either.
-
We tried that in the summer mind.
-
But haven’t we won more this season with Tonali on the pitch? I’m pretty sure 2 of our 3 wins came having subbed Tonali on for Longstaff and us then going on to win the game (Spurs and Wolves).
-
The pass stats are misleading mind, not sure I’ve ever seen Longstaff try a creative pass. It’s usually sideways and backwards (not a criticism as it’s probably what he’s asked to do).
-
Not sure we have seen it for a while between Longstaff and Bruno mind.

Aye, my thoughts as well (maybe Saudi), I’d sell if someone did mind.
