This issue has been I’m not sure what our tactics have supposed to have been.

If we continue to play as we have been we will get murdered. Even without Rodri and possibly KDB can’t see anything other than a big defeat. 0-3

For me it depends on results and performances over the next few months. If we continue our recent performances then results will suffer and a change may feel less disappointing.

I’d just love to know where and why the press has gone tbh. I dont think our current squad are good enough to play any other way.

Completely agree, they look miles ahead of us in most departments tbh.

Villa having Emery gives them a big advantage over us (and many teams). He is only behind Pep imo, he’s a world class manager.

I don’t think there is any pressure on him for top 4 this season after the transfer window. The pressure at the minute is the poor performances we are seeing week in week out. You mention ordinary players, but so far this season we have had very good lineups and have performed horribly in the majority of games. We don’t currently look to have a style of play, I’d argue we are one of the worst sides in the league in possession of the ball. We now also don’t press and the players don’t really look motivated. The whole club feels stale and it’s the same on the pitch.

That’s not difficult to do tbh, I still find it mad some people thought we weren’t desperate for a RW.

Don’t think long term the issue is Howe or Mitchell. We clearly need to change our approach to transfers. If Howe can’t or isn’t willing to get on board with that, then he won’t be here long term, whether that’s with Mitchell here or someone else.

And hawked our player of the season around and unsettled him.

If so, let’s hope they realise it soon.

It’s definitely in everyone’s best interests to make this work. None of them will get a better job after us imo.
