Given our away from and position in table, we should be beating them. Or rather we really need to be.

The wider issue there would be we had over 100 million of strikers on the bench and he thought they would make us worse ? I don’t know how you could watch last night and think we didn’t need to make changes. Gordon in particular looked done physically.

We did need subs, just because they came on and made us worse doesn’t mean we didn’t need to make any. It’s an indictment of the summer window if anything.

The current top 12 as in it stand right now? If so its not accurate. Of the top of my head we have beaten Everton x2, Villa, Man Utd, Fulham x2, Brentford x2 Obviously not much better but still not 6.

I think people are understandably just sick of another really bad away day, and another capitulation when leading a game.

The best outcome would be finishing the season strongly and us being back to our best under Howe next season, surely?

Feels like this for me as well, i just hope, for the rest of the season, we start to see some signs of real improvement to take into the summer. If we continue as we have this season then i am not sure where we go.

Away from is also putting more pressure on us at home. We don’t particularly play well there either but manage to get results. Two tricky home games coming up as well, don’t fancy us for 6 points from them tbh.

Emery hasn’t had the resources at the clubs he’s succeeded at tbf. He’s actually struggled with more resources. Fwiw I think he’s a better manager than Howe, but Howe has done a better job here than Emery has at Villa.

Them being more involved would be a start.
