I think the bit about a presser outlining their plans would have been done if the takeover was done in the summer/pre season, however our position in the league means they have not done all of that yet.

I see where you are coming from, but for me out of the names strongly linked - Fonseca, Favre, Lampard, Martinez, Howe, Gerrard, Rafa would overwhelmingly a better option than all of them.

I can completely understand them wanting to wait till the summer and maybe get an interim manager in, the list of managers we could get in the summer would be far greater than now. The only issue is there being a manager willing to be the stop gap.

Agree with this which leaves them (the owners) in a tricky situation about trying to fill the gap with someone good enough to keep us up.

Players certainly to start with but I don’t think we will be going anywhere close to matching Pep or Klopps wages for a manager until we are in a position to need a manager like that.

? he had just retired when I was there from the youth team due to Injury, from what I remember he was very well liked and respected but it was years ago so in terms of his ability I can’t say much.
