Hyypia (on a 1 year contract) Campbell Baines (would be top of my list). The rest I don't know much about or don't rate

Considering some of the other prices being mentioned for other players, I don't think £5m for Baines is that bad.

Surprised a bit about that as I thought he was a bit of a favourite of Ferguson, would certainly worth a bid and if successful get rid of Ameobi.

Pretty rubbish World Cup overall. I mainly remember it for the endless Rooney foot speculation and taking Walcott and Sven being too scared to use him.

The whole squad certainly needs a massive overhaul, but surely it can't be good to make too many changes pre-season or we are really going to struggle when the season kicks off with players not having time to gel properly. Lets just hope Allardyce can get that balance right!

As long as we get some decent replacements then it's a great start, I have been dreaming of getting rid of Shambles for a long time. Would be great to get rid of Baba & Carr but do we have the resources to replace that many players? Or looking at it the other way, can we afford not to replace them!

Annoyed that we gifted them two easy goals but I thought it was a pretty positive result overall. I really fancy us to score one or more in the away leg so I think we have a really good chance. All the players put in a decent shift, though Duff could have easily had a bigger impact. Carr did ok though wasn't really tested much. Butt or Solano would be my MOTM
