Nah, his general play has been woeful and he's been getting the ball from ASM plenty of times.
-
Wilson has been pretty shit so far.
-
You can tell everyone in the team were nervous as well with how many came up to check on him. They know how important he is at the moment.
-
Ronaldo gave a team mate a thumbs up. Ragnick must have some dirt on him.
-
I wish our defenders would at least attempt at hitting a team mate when they are heading a ball un-challenged.
-
We need another goal quick while the pressure is up if we are to have much hope of getting something from this.
-
Wilson need to take that ball down. Great ball by ASM.
-
Fuuuuck, early goal again! 80 minutes to do something dumb.
-
Just my imagination or is ASM even more bandaged up than last match today? Hope it's for something like eczema that is spreading or that he's just cold.

Try and find any club ever being remotely close to paying that kind of fee for a full back at his age. You won't find it. For a reason. Atletico may value him higher, but he's not worth more than someone is willing to pay, and the most recent noises was the ~15m mentioned by Man Utd. I just find it baffling how people can say 25m is "nothing" and "great value" when it clearly isn't, despite him being a great player. Only if we stay up that fee can be justified imo, but it's still more than what any other club would ever pay. But....as I said, as long as it does not limit whom else we can bring in I really don't care.
-
Still belive we're getting mugged with that price. As was mentioned on here earlier, man utd was prepared to pay 15m or so 6 months ago but hey, it's not my money. As long as there's sufficient funds left to significantly improve Cb, cm & back-up/prospect CF I really don't care.

If he goes to West Ham he becomes the next Lescott, if he goes here he becomes the next Lascelles. Would still like that we tried to pick up prospects from the championship that may turn out to be good enough to keep us up, and if not, then at least more than good enough and willing to take us right back up again rather than signing a bunch of players that will want out if we dont manage to stay up so we have to essentially make three new squads in three seasons.
-
His main strength is protecting the defense from a central midfield position. That's where he excelled at Genk and for Norway. I havent seen him being used in that role at Sheffield United. Maybe that has changed since they got relegated, but last season he was primarily being used on the right of a midfield 3, where he was expected to contribute more offensively than defensively.
-
He's right though. Doesn't make sense having two domestic cups.
-
If he wants to go to games, is there anything stopping him from getting a ticket?
-
First La Liga match I've seen in a long while. Everybody throwing themselves screaming to the ground to provoke yellow/red cards. Hope this is an anomaly rather than the norm. It's embarrasing to watch.
-
Kounde red card for throwing the ball in the face of Jordi Alba from like 60cm

In order of priority for me (if we could only make 5 signings) 1. CM 2. CB 3. CM 4. LB 5. RB Before Lewis went out with that nasty hamstring injury I'd probably put RB at 4 and CF at 5 but Joelinton, ASM & Gayle is better cover for Wilson than what we have as cover for left back.
-
I thought it was a case of them having the money, but aren't allowed to spend them due to FFP?
-
He's got (or at least had) a good top speed, but not very fast over 10 meters. Benitez made Clark look competent and Lascelles touted for England. Of course he looked solid under him I doubt he can replicate that when we are playing a more attacking style of football that leaves him more exposed, and he certainly won't improve any of our attacking play.
-
Everton aren't skint. I doubt there's many clubs out there that would be willing to pay what would be necessary to get Digne considering his value will only decrease from now on due to his age - we may be one of the few willing buyers, purely out of desperation.
-
To be fair, Tino was 27 years old, had been a regular player for Columbia for 5 years, came from a trophy winning Parma side and had his debut against mid-table Middlebrough when we were the best attacking team in the league. Not quite the same as throwing on 19 year old Elliot Anderson with 1 senior cap (subbed on after 87 min, almost 1 year ago) for one of the worst teams in the league against the best team in the league. That being said, when City went 3-0 up there isn't really much to lose, and no pressure, so it's as good a time as any to give youth a much needed opportunity to gain some experience.
-
I can't believe anyone would say that either. Worst footballer in our entire squad. Let's hope Howe is not aware that this man exists.
-
Not really surprising that it's two midfielders that are at fault for that goal. Murphy not able to stop Jesus, Ritchie not alert nor fast enough to track Sterling.
