WTF did Cabella do so badly in the QPR game for him to lose his place ? Or is it what Goufran did so brilliantly to take it away from him. Pardew f***ing sucks, he just continues to shoot himself. He even said in his interview post game QPR that it was the wide players and the driving runs by Sissoko that have been the reason for the upturn in results. So he goes and changes that formula by reverting back to part the problem in the first instance, GOUF f***ing useless FRAN !! -
Despite all the crap he's subjected us to over the years, I would be more than happy to give him my support IF...... He said look I proven I can make a profit out of running a football club, I'm going to change direction a bit now and try to push the club on. I'll make substantial funds available during the upcoming transfer windows to make the club competitive. I'll not sell our best talent unless a deal comes along that clearly benefits the club and we have suitable replacements recruited immediately. I'll bring in a manager and coaching staff that will challenge the best in this country and ultimately Europe. I'll ensure they have the facilities to make Newcastle United a great club once more. ... sorry was drifting off into a dream I think. The sad thing is that much if not all of this is so achievable for him and wouldn't require a huge outlay of money, he's got the foundations in place at the club. If he made some wise managerial appointments for a change and just invested a little (or even just recycled the money already generated by the club) he could make even more money , you would think as a business man and a gambler he would see the potential to do that.

Assist seconds later I know, I should critcise the lad more !
-
What the hell happened to Junior Hoillet !
-
Sissoko is hugely important for Pardew, really how folks on here can constantly critcise him, beats me.
-
Sammy has been so shit, yet he's still on the bloody pitch.
-
Playing on the break, at home versus the 2nd bottom team, it's all we can do
-
Got to put more on that one
-
Perez has be turbo shit today tbh
-
This is why Pardew is Pardew and fucking hated, stupid sub. Sammy has been trash but you take your best player off !!!

I had not got a clue about this, until the beeb ran a story saying convicted rapist seeks a way back to football or something. Anyway I did a little bit of research. The conviction is very very suspect imo. Especially when they found the other guy who was involved in the incident innocent. What was clear from what I read that here was a young girl who had had too much to drink, went to a hotel with one footballer, he called his mate (Evans) over to join in and she accepted it. The case seemed to hinge on how drunk she was and able to make decisions for herself. She stated that although she had a lot to drink, this was not out of the norm for her and she often drank a lot more. There was no force used here, it was consensual, the question was whether she was in a fit state to make the decision. What went against Evans was really why the hell did you go to a room where your mate was shagging a girl and ask to join in ? He had a steady girlfriend, who amazingly is still with him. FFS, how difficult is it to get girls as a professional footballer ?? It was a stupid choice and he paid a big price for it. The girl allegedly sent a few tweets that the Evans family got a hold of stating stuff like I'll buy you this or that "when I win big". If those tweets are real that casts some doubt on her character. It's a really tough one to call, that's why I would question somewhat the jury on the trial since they the had to find him "beyond reasonable doubt" guilty. think personally from the stuff I've read that there is too much doubt to convict the guy, his defence team did a lousy job really. That's not to say that I think he was innocent, because him making a pre meditated decision to go to that hotel room was as stupid a decision anyone could make and his motivation to do so must have been huge something along the lines of his mate saying that this girl was wasted is entirely possible, if so then his mate should have been convicted as an accomplice to the crime iyam. Anyway it's a really interesting case and people should serious think about this when they go out on their binge drinking nights, the UK is too famous for. As far as playing again, I would say wait till the 2nd appeal they are apparently pursing, but a footballers career is so short, the appeal hearing could just take too long. Up to the individual clubs, other sports like the NFL are full of convicted criminals, football can decide if they want to follow that example.

Great win. Wow 7th atm.
-
Dummett is clearly a CB like, done really well again today.
-
Willo is fucking awful, lucky if we hold on with him back there.
-
Jesus that's an awful finish
-
Great the old guard back on
-
janmaat has been a great signing, I liked debuchy but bloody hell what great business that was replacing him with a quality younger player and making a hefty profit.
-
That would be my chosen 11 assuming Titote, Cisse and Saylor are not fit. If they are a would swap Abeid (though he would be very unlucky) for Tiote, Cisse for Perez, and Saylor for Dummett.

It's very valid to question whether the kid has just hit a streak of form. But I think when you watch him you see something a little more than that, It's not just on the odd occasion in games that he seems to shine, it seems like every time he gets involved in the attacking third something happens. The goal in the game on wednesday sums up for me why I think he has a special talent.Taylor wins the ball well, but Aarons still has a hell of a lot to do, first he has the football intelligence to realise that there could be something on for him here, he reacts so so quickly, he's actually behind both the centre back and full back when the ball breaks free. Once he gets to the ball his first touch is perfectly weighted to ensure he stays ahead of the CB but doesn't run the ball out of play, then finally he strikes the ball with his right foot (which I presume is his weaker one) low and hard and through the keepers legs. In that goal he showed he has a football brain, he's not reliant solely on his speed he has great reactions too, has a great touch and is calm and calculated in his finishing. He got a lot of things right in one goal there, a form player or a kid with a little bit of potential is likely only to get one or two things right and get lucky with another. Pardew will want him to work on his tracking back ability and understanding when to play the ball to other players and that's probably why the idiot won't give him the start against Liverpool, we need Goufran for his supposed defensive ability.

he's had a similar start to n'zogbia no? I think Zog was a less impactful than Aarons is and he was a kid we bought from another club, rather than one that came through our system. I know Aarons was at Bristol City before us but he was still part of our youth system after Bristol let him go, we were part of his youth development. By impactful (which is clearly not even a word) I mean when Aarons is brought on or starts, he seems to change games, seems to have a big impact on the game. Zog didn't have that when he started out with us, it was more of complementing the good team around him and fitting in well, until we replaced him with Damien fucking Duff of course Still early days with Rolando I know, but he clearly has it in him to be a real star if he wants it enough, tonnes of talent there.
-
Thought he was excellent and should be starting more games than just league cups. Certainly better in there than both Anita and Colback. Hope Pardew isn't stupid enough not to see this.

I think you can tell when a young player has "it", some take a little time to show it and go on to have great careers. Others you see it from day one, I remember Gazza when he first got called up into the senior squad, you could tell this guy was something special. Not saying Aarons will become anywhere near the player Gazza was, but I can't think of another player since Gazza that has burst on to the scene the way this kid has at this club. He's got to keep his feet firmly on the ground and make sensible career choices, and I see that as his biggest risk, hopefully he's got a good family around him and is being well advise, because I truly believe this guy's got a chance. We need to lock him down to a long term contract asap, if they can do that with Dummett ffs they can do it with this guy.
