Sad when our best player is not our player and will not be here in a couple of months time, our 2nd best player is not our either lol.
-
Thanks Remy for saving PArdew's job you bastard
-
Pleat is awful, blatant that
-
What's the point with these free kicks
-
You're s***. lol fuck off
-
That's a red card tbh
-
This game is crying out for a good Benny, unfortunately the Benny we had on the bench is a pale imitation of that player. So no really matter that he's not there.
-
Got to hit the target there
-
Not enough boos imo
-
LOL Cisse, fucking horrible footballer really
-
If any in the crowd applaud that first half they should be shot nd are part of the problem.
-
we not losing. crowd were s*** from the start to be fair. He said great when we are winning too hard on the players when when we are losing, failed to mentioned that the current state is one of apathetic disillusionment of course.
-
OH ffs here goes the commentator with the same old shit about how bad the crowd are when we are losing. What a load of fucking shit.
-
Is it really sensationalism ? He's speculating that Debuchy and Benny could possibly leave. That's hardly surprising stuff and the others on the list are pretty good bets to go too. It's a big number and there is a lot of work do in the summer. Ryder is certainly not the greatest jorno in the world but he's hardly sensationalising anything here, even apologists, like teasy are admitting 9 will probably leave.
-
Oh the sensationalism We'll lose Shola, Gosling, Amalfitano, Jonas, Obertan (hopefully), Marveaux and likely Remy and Cisse. If Pardew is still here probably Ben Arfa as well which is the one that'll hurt. We'd need to bring in at least 4 good players. De Jong, Cabaye replacement, Remy replacement, Ben Arfa replacement. At least £35m, which is less then we'll have in the bank from transfer fees alone. Anything less will be criminal LOL so you are losing 9 players according to your list and only replacing them with 4, where are the other 5 bodies coming from ? Youth team promotions ? Or was our squad too fat to begin with ? Your comment should read at least 8 signings.

I know this is how it works, but I have read this whole thread and had a right old chuckle. You wouldn't all be so miserable if you had any idea just how incomprehensibly feeble we have been for months now. We haven't even gt a particularly good away record anymore, either. It's weird Brummie, when I watched your lot play Liverpool you looked like a decent team, with plenty of purpose and attacking intent. Lambert seemed to have set you up to play 1-2's in the channels with a view to getting in behind and playing balls into the box. We do that. We play for 30 minutes here and there, put in a good performance. Then we just go to s***. There's no way, for example, we're capable of playing well for 90 minutes. Not 90 consecutive minutes, anyway. Maybe across four or five games, then we'd have a chance, but of late we've been abysmal. I've started to think lately that Lambo doesn't really "do" tactics. If we concede a goal or two, he'll go totally gung-ho to get back into it. Sometimes (like the two matches against Albion, one away where we were two down inside the first 12 minutes, and the home one where it was two down in the first 8 minutes) it works spectacularly well. Other times, though, he just goes mad, makes a few subs and sets us up with five up front and no midfield. It's usually entertaining to watch, but it is a bit nuts. Our problem at the moment is the midfield. He just doesn't seem to be able to permutate a selection from our options there which will work with any regularity. If you set out to attack us, then it could be a decent game. If you don't, then I suspect it'll be like watching two bald men fighting over a comb. The thing is you won't have to play particularly well to take three points home from us right now. Just score a goal and it's game over.

Oh ffs what toss. We are no worse than any other fans.
-
It is a good piece, and has me thinking I should be doing more even from 5,000 miles away. Calls out and shames us supporters and rightly so, we profess that we care about the club but continually fail to show it.

How many of Ian's posts are actually things he truly believes in ? Surely no one can be so lacking in desire for his team to lift out of this world of nothingness. This blinkered support of the current regime and fear mongering of change must have an alliterative motive, whether it's just getting a rise from sops like me or something more sinister, I don't know.
-
Ultimately, as an outsider, you're 9th. Nobody is going to get sacked for getting you 9th. Not in modern football, with the lowered expectations it means for all but a handful of clubs. Unfortunately you are absolutely right, we have no more lofty goals and pardew is hitting his target.

He won't and never will give a f***. Exactly
