You know rightly how EPL clubs feel about the League Cup. The most important thing about the game tonight was getting Jonny Evans some match practice for the weekend. Sounds like he was excellent. Just happy he made the mistakes in a competition that doesn't matter. Damn you follow Manure and the Gaytriots, wow that some glory hunting there f***ing preach. He's the worst kind of f***ing person. I would bet his baseball team is NY Yankees, Basketball Miami Heat (up until this off season, now he'll need to rethink), College Football Alabama. International Football team Germany or Brazil, Rugby Union Domestic Leicester international the All blacks

I don't think he did anything right at all today, not a huge amount of service but really bad performance against a poor team.
-
I'm starting to hate this guy and it's not his fault, it's his buffoon of a manager who plays him in a role that is killing our creativity.
-
If it was certain that Ashley would pull the trigger if we still haven't won or even scored a goal after 6 games, I would take that, but lets face it, he's not getting sacked anytime soon, and it's killing us
-
Villa were terrible, really bad, Stoke need to worry if that team can beat you. That's just not good enough from Pardew and NUFC.
-
His 2 bad moments in the match were the 2 goals, really getting sucked in to Dzecko for the first and leaving so much space behind him was naive in the extreme, the second, you've really got to anticipate that ball coming back to Aguero and do everything in your power to stop him from getting it. He had an important block from a dangerous move from Jovetic though in the 2nd half but you get judged as a CB on those 2 goals you conceded. The problem we have though is there are simply no effective options to the Colo/Willo partnership, and that's shocking really, both MYM and Saylor have themselves to blame for not showing anything to show they deserve to be in the team ahead of those two. We need to buy, but we won't unless we can move one or more of the 4 senior CBs, whom I would be wouldn't lose any sleep over any of them being sold.

ok http://eplindex.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Creative-TCC.png Please list all of these goal scoring chances he created as I must of missed 80% of them when watching the games. Hmmm give it up Arsene Wenger (I can not comment, I didn't see it), don't make ridiculous baseless statements and expect people not to knock you down. Come on then please list these chances if there baseless, can't wait to see the big long list you're going to provide. LOL, There's a fucking stat man to show it, ffs I'm not going to go through all the games from last year, why don't you rewatch them, obviously with your eyes and mind open this time ?
-
I think nerves on debut contributed, I don't think he thought when he signed he would be the main man all alone up front against Man City at home first game. He does need a goal early on his NUFC career (like all strikers do of course) to settle himself down a little. His all round game was better thank I expected today.

I thought he was pretty good, considering the opposition, Pardew and the fact that he was all alone there most of the game.
-
Wasn't there some stat somewhere that Sissoko was in the top 5 of chances created last year in the Prem. I dunno I could be wrong.
-
On the whole my Motm today, was excellent, got stronger as the game went on, all credit to him. How he didn't start every game for that lot down the road is beyond me.
-
Ronaldo the voice of reason, who would have thunk
-
It's not hate at all man, he's just not much good at defending unless you count standing in front of the keeper as defending. Hardly a new thing for our defenders. Is he in the first team right now ? Why is it such a concern for everyone
-
You would think Steven Taylor had killed of your family members the way the hate flows to him on here.
-
Yeah seems a decent squad filler guy, he was ok today but we have better options. Worry is Pardew rates him much higher. For me our CMs should be Sissoko and Tiote, with Anita, Abeid and Colback in that order backing them up, Pardew probably doesn't agree with that.
-
So wtf is happening with this guy, it's been weeks now, think in Pardew's first choice team, which was basically today's starting 11 with Tiote for Anita and De Jong for Gouff. He's kinda vital.
-
Abeid impressed me when he came on. Always looking for the ball, linking up between defrence and attack, how Colback appears to be ahead of him in Pardew's mind is beyond me.
-
That's an awesome picture. But don't the players look older than modern players, the first 3 arsenal guys look well into their 40's !!! Also the shin pads, amazing how they could even run in those.
-
I think this is a great signing for Sunderland tbh, obviously his injury record has to be a concern but they could have an absolute bargain at 10 million. They've spent that much on utter crap in the past, Fletcher and Gordon for example. That team though lacks quality all around and will again hover around 16th spot if they don't invest further.
-
They've been listening to HTT apparently all our signings are crap because they have no prem experience and no one has heard of them. We don't have players that can take the game by the scruff of the neck like O'Shea, Cattermole, Borini (who's not even their player) and Brown, lol.
-
Just watched a goals video on a popular video site. Everyone looks like a star on these highlight clips but the guy looks like a natural goalscorer to me. He seems very calm in front of goal, finds space, seems to anticipate really well, hits things early and very true. We could have a good one here, if he can adapt and Pardew doesn't ruin him.
-
Just can't see us signing anymore, that's 9 already. Unless we are serious about improving maybe a Grenier or Remy after all. What horrific hell is round the corner - Krul, Sissoko and Mbiwa out probably I would def suggest HBA for Grenier plus some cash, say 5-6 million, HBA is done here and Lyon may just take that.

I thought he's had a great pre season, personally I've no problem with that, seems like some people he do. If he keeps it up and forces his way into the first team and stays there on merit, then we should be happy about that, if he's decided he wants to be a successful footballer that'll be great for us.
