Totally agree, don't understand the "Oh I hope they stay up because I would miss the derbys", way of thinking, fuck that let them suffer they revel in our misfortune and are generally a despicable set of supporters.
  2. DL already made a statement !!! After FA announcement? Yes he makes a point of saying how the system has failed.
  3. Always been against this mentality, but Wigans disgusting behaviour which wouldn't be out of place in the 2nd Division (old 4th) - where they should be - has changed that Did you notice the attitude of their stewarts ? James Perch had his arm round Carver protecting him from the orange ars*holes, while NONE of them were around their own sh*tbag. Yes, my attitude has changed and want revenge against these turds I'm still against it. Who gets hurt here ? Wigan get some damage to there stadium that NUFC will have to pay for. NUFC will get bans, points deduction or whatever other sanctions.
  4. For his own safety they'll probably swap refs for that match, although they won't directly say that. It could be a very bad situation if he's in charge of the game.
  5. So if this mystery official has seen the incident, then he has to have reported it to the referee who makes the decision on whnether to punish the player or not. So either the mystery official is a blind man or Halsey has completely ignore his comments. Common sense should have prevailed here. I hope the club support Haidara through a civil action case. The rules may probably change because of this incident, but if they do it'll be too late for any justice to be served for Haidara and NUFC. Disgraceful situation, Wigan, the FA, Halsey, the PL officiating panel, Whelan, Martinez and especially McManaman have brought shame on the game and I'm disgusted with them all.

Fulham have proved to be a bit of a bogey team for us over the years and have been getting the odd good result here and there, just beat Spuds at their place, this weekend. We play the mackems right after a trip to Benfica, it will be a tough game and they'll obviously be up for it. I'm not as convinced about that.

Think my number is rising again after yesterday. With all the injuries and Man shitty away (certain loss) next, if Wigan win their next game we are suddenly only 3 points ahead of the bottom 3 ! Worried again.
  8. After seeing that for the first time, thank goodness he's playing in this era and not 20 or 30 years ago, if he had been his career would probably be over.
  9. not sure if this has been linked before but Amazing comments from Martinez, nice man my arse : Wigan boss Roberto Martinez said: "It is a contact sport and these things happen but there was never any intent." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21823350
  10. Not watching game, but just calling it clumsy on the Beeb: "James Perch replaces Massadio Haidara. Warm applause for the injured Newcastle defender. Replays showing Callum McManaman's shin-high tackle to be clumsy at the very least."
  11. Thought they drew the semi at the same time
  12. The way it's looking Spuds could be England's only representatives in the 1/4 finals of european competition this. And they were freaking lucky. That's simply shocking for the amount of money rolling around in the PL.
  13. Don't want to be a debbie downer but when was the last time we won a game without Cabaye in the team ?
  14. Got to play game s in Europe at European pace ! This approach really pisses me off sometimes, play your normal game ffs.
  15. Groin. Guessing thats going to be a long one out then Nah still had his shorts on. LOL
  16. wouldn't they be speaking french ? Of course OK in English might be OK in french, I don't fucking know
  17. Sounds like we are bring dominated from your comments here, is that true ? Do we need to get in to half time for one of Pards's famous half time team talks ?
  18. A week and 5 mins back, judging by your last offering, are stoke looking dangerous ?
  19. Taylor made 2 blocks then when Diarra was going to strike, took it off his foot at last minute. Nice thanks
  20. f5 f5 guys, apart from Mike's week late Tiote observation no clue whats going on !!
  21. In terms of strength of squad I would put us right up there, my strength of squad table would like something like this: 1. Man City 2. ManUre 3. Chelsea 4. Arsenal 5. Spuds 6. Liverpool 7. NUFC 8. Everton There's a big gap between 3rd and 4th and a small one between 5th and 6th. I do believe we have a stronger squad than what we've shown in league position this season. Europa leage challenge should be the level we are looking for, in a good season like last year we should be target that final CL spot.
