Kevin Philips from Blackpool to Palace, my god he must close to 100 years old now and played from every championship style club in the land.

They probably already have enough points to be safe. I think they will fall down the table though as their season peeters out but not because of this saga.
-
Guess we are done then, damn fine window, loss of Ba easily outweighed by the 5 french players. Good job Mike and Dekka.
-
Have we had the official "Our business is concluded" message from the club yet ? Never know there could be a surprise in store.
-
2 hours left apparently, when is spurs's deadline ?

Who is this girl you guys keep reffering too, pics for us living in foreign lands please http://i.imgur.com/Y6qYM4l.jpg Ah she's looking very well. Hmm girl next door type of look, I don't want to use the word plain but can't think of a better one.

Who is this girl you guys keep reffering too, pics for us living in foreign lands please Look in the 'chat' section, there is a SSN presenters thread. Don't understand the hype about her tbh. WNB Guess it works a bit like the NFL network and their female presenters, like Molly Qerim, just eye candy for us sex starved sports fans.

Shea looked a bit terrified. Is he any good ? Or typical Stoke grafter type ?
-
I'd put a fiver on Everton being the club in for Diame, I'm probably wrong though

It's certainly different, a lot more boring yes but a lot better when we can just relax.

I've been waiting for the window to close to play both FIFA 13 and FM13, hopefully both publishers have put out a update after the window.

Yeah I read back the match thread the other day after I had watched the full 90 mins, I thought Jonas had done pretty good, but the abuse he was getting on the thread was unreal.

Wonder if he can play against us in the Europa league, if both teams get through. I know he's played CL for the Shakhtar this season, not sure of the ruling regarding cup tied or not. One player per team can be reregistered for a different European competition. Thanks, so I guess we can register MYM then.

League 2 player, doubt it. Good don't need them getting any better right now.

Villa confirmed the signing of Yacouba Sylla. Who the hell is he ? Is he any good, likely to keep them up ?
-
If you talk to Stoke fans they say they don't do the long throw thing anymore, the change in rules regarding pitch size has probably hurt them a lot in regard to this. as well as the fact that delap has gotten progressively worse as a footballer and can't get into their team right now.

Definately a kind of player we have not seen at the club for a while, you see in the youtube clips that he's big strong and makes those surging runs that opponents hate. We saw that for ourselves for the first time in a NUFC shirt last night. Pardew's problem will be to find a blend in midfield that allows him to continue to do that. Clearly for me, playing 2 up front would not suit Sissoko at all, he needs the licence that a 5 man midfield gives him. When everyone is fit and available perhaps the best balance would be, Tiote for Perch, HBA for Jonas and Marv for Gouffran (although they could be interchangeable). MYM for Saylor and that would round out my first choice team. That's a bloody strong team imo and one that shouldn't be where we are right now in the league.

We could do with Spuds turning it around against Norwich, Chelsea getting ahead against reading and west ham pulling level with Fulham.
-
Tonight helped for sure, next two games become even more crucial though now. On paper we should get nothing from them but we are only four points clear so can't afford to just right them off, but probably just as important is the need to build on this win and change the momentum of the season, two or more points from the next two and I think we will be fine.
-
True we need a complete change of philosophy, change the mind set, retain the ball for longer periods means you loosen the need for tacklers, still need people that can win the ball back from time to time, but fully confident, Sissoko, Cabs and Anita have all got that in their game as well as the ability to hang onto it.

I'm worried about Bent and Zog ? The pace of MYM may have been more suited for this one. I'm cautiously going for 1-1, can't see a win here tbh and wouldn't bit surprised with another flat away performance ending in defeat.
