  1. Wow we have no quality at all our best player Ba plays that kinda ball

I agree with you but bringing up Stoke as an example is a bit strange. They had 1 shot on goal against Villa if you believe the BBC stats, Skysports has them on 2 That's hardly imposing their style.
  3. Why is Saylor made of glass ? Think we would have won a couple more games lately had he been fit alongside Colo.

    Papiss Cissé

offside a huge 3 times in his last two games Offside is always massively exaggerated as a problem. It's just a function of a striker who tries to run in behind, it happens to everyone. Yep but some of the offsides Cisse gets are pretty comical, shows no understanding of how the offside rule works.

Credit to Sunderland, they were definitely up for it last night and came out of the blocks fast. But it's hard to ignore the fact Reading were awful. Completely devoid of any ideas and if they're going to play like that for most of the season then even QPR have a better chance of avoiding relegation than they do. The worrying things is Reading scored 2 against us and we were very lucky to come away with a point against them. Having said that we were unlucky with 10 men not to beat the dirty stinking mackems.

The table makes depressing reading right now if you analyse it and factor in upcoming fixtures and recent form. We have to get something out of the games we don't expect to get anything from, starting with Man Shitty on Saturday, if we could grab a win it would give the team a lift and of course 3 points further away from relegation. I'm concerned right now, one thing we have in our favour is along with Villa and perhaps QPR we are one of the few down there that are likely to spend in January, that could be one of the most vital windows in recent history for us.
  7. I had too many bad experiences with standing at St James when the ground was a mess to let this bother me in the slightest, not that I can go to the matches now anyways, since I live on a different continent now.
  8. I've never trawled those threads, so I agree, it's all because of that.
  9. Time to get HD? I was watching in 1080p, and still didn't see a thing, if there was it was extremely slight and there was no visible deviation in the ball's flight. You were definitely not watching in 1080p. I was thinking that. No TV is broadcast in 1080p. Whatever, it was still bloody HD so STFU Yeah, but did you have the correct aspect ratio, or was the picture stretched to fit? So many variables. You clearly can't be trusted. Which part of STFU didn't you understand. Nerd
  10. Yep, and I also think that despite how good both are, the team maybe better with one of them being sacrificed for a player more suited to our best formation.

QPR could very much hold the key to whether or not we are in a relegation fight. If Arry works his magic on them and they start to pick up a few points that gets them to safety, including beating us, then we've got a battle on our hands. It is a crucial game in what looks like a hugely difficult December.
  14. Dunno how anyone can say it CLEARLY took a deflection, I watched it a million times last night and couldn't see it.
  15. Had a very strange game last night, I thought he was terrible in the build up to their first goal and bad marking for the second, there were times also where he looked dodgy as hell. However he made one terrific challenge in the second half to stop a route one move by Fulham that looked dangerous and the header and shot that both really deserved a goal. Another player just not performing to his ability, which can be said about way too many of our players right now.
  16. He seems bereft of ideas and confidence when he has the ball, his tracking back is not what it was, he's still adept at picking up free kicks by falling over though but really a passenger for the most part in every game I've seen this season. Yet he seems untouchable, Marveaux should have started ahead of him last night.
  17. I didn't actually think we played too badly last night, bar the first 20 mins or so I think we were the team asking most of the questions. Having 20 or so shots is not a bad performance. I think we deserved something out of it, but again shot ourselves in the foot by conceding sloppy goals with stupid fouls, poor tackling and poor marking. Swap the front pairings Ba/Cisse and Berbatov/Roudlega last night and we would have won at a canter I think.
  18. Agree, I'm thinking we need to change things up front, one of the two probably needs to move on, it's clearly not working, I'm not sure which one we should keep because Cisse's lack of sharpness in front of goal and complete lack of understanding of the way the offside rule works is a concern too. But clearly to me we need to replace one of them with a forward comfortable playing in the outside left role.
  19. Very poor for me last night, offered no threat at all
  20. You are talking about consistency again and if they did this there would be calls from fans straight away complaining of biased towards this team or that or big clubs getting all the calls and so on. Best to keep it simple with a hard fast rule, there is an appeals process in place already.

Last night as in when they were hit by a red card and a penalty after 2 seconds? That has no bearing on the philosophy. They were poor last night, and made some naive decisions in terms of the way they played, irrespective of whether they were playing with 10 or 11 men.
  22. The one thing players and managers moan about most is consistency and that would throw that out of the window.
