Moussa SISSOKO ne terminera pas son contrat au TFC. Il s'est mis d'accord avec le Newcaslte United Football Club pour un transfert définitif qui prend effet ce jour. Il évoluera donc en Angleterre dans le championnat anglais de Premier League. Moussa SISSOKO a été formé au Toulouse Football Club où il a évolué dans la plupart des catégories de jeunes du centre de formation toulousain. Il fait ses débuts officiels avec l'équipe professionnelle du TFC lors de la saison 2007-08. Entré en jeu face à Valenciennes (3 août 2007), il est ensuite titulaire pour les matchs face à Lyon puis Liverpool, en tour préliminaire de Ligue des Champions. Milieu puissant qui préfère évoluer dans l'axe, Moussa marque son premier but officiel le 1er septembre 2007 au Stadium face à l'AJ Auxerre (victoire 2-0). Il jouera 30 matchs de Ligue 1 lors de cette première saison (plus quatre de Coupe d'Europe). Lors de la seconde saison, Moussa est appelé par Erick Mombaerts en sélection Espoirs (septembre 2008). Moussa joue ensuite plus de 35 matchs par saison en moyenne comme titulaire avec le TFC, 2009-10 restant sa saison la plus prolifique avec 7 buts marqués. C'est d'ailleurs à ce moment qu'il honore sa première sélection en équipe de France à Guingamp (10 octobre 2009). Raymond Domenech, alors sélectionneur, le fait entrer en jeu lors du match France-Iles Féroé dans le cadre des éliminatoires de la Coupe du Monde 2010. Appelé à nouveau par Didier Deschamps en 2012 en compagnie de son coéquipier Etienne Capoue, il compte six sélections sous le maillot des Bleus au moment de quitter le TFC. Tout le club lui souhaite beaucoup de réussites pour la poursuite de sa carrière.
