I was wondering to rest some of the players as we have to face Blackburn in midweek and Fulham the following weekend. It would have been nice to play this game on Saturday to recover for Wednesday big physical battle with fat Sam.

I have no doubt Ashley will give him an improved offer the one he have now is low. There is an offer on the table but it is low. CH wants to wait for a better one. Everyone complain when Ashley gave him contract at the first place. I have no reason to doubt he won't give him another one now.
