  1. Rory Delap's is the best fake one i've seen: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=67903500
  2. Would probably rank as SAF's greatest title win, after the way people wrote off Man Utd and said Chelsea would dominate for years to come.
  3. What about when the ball is in the midfield area, does it show movement from attackers?
  4. Fact confirmed. Better atmosphere in stadium. Fact confirmed. But when I'm watching TV I find it much easier to analyze things then when you're singing songs in the blazing cold while being disturbed by some 100 different voices and perhaps it's me, but I can't really see exactly who made what mistake during matches. It's just too far away to tell. And I've been sitting in the front rows in a lot of stadiums ranging from Mestalla (Spain) to Estadio da Luz (Portugal) and everytime it was the same. I don't get this "distracted by other fans" arguement, when i'm at the match I don't particularly pay too much notice to what other fans are doing, I certainly don't let it detract from my watching of the match anyway. If you're on about chanting then that's part of the game, do you get bullied by other fans like?
  5. Watching on TV doesn't compare to actually being there. As has been discussed in the MEGA-THREAD, by being at the match I can be better placed to judge a...erm, certain player's movement and effort actually put in, TV won't focus on a player doing nothing, meaning that a player's performance can look better than it actually is.
  6. It does, stopped whenever he found a new job.
  7. Swapping a forward for a right-winger would hardly be a sensible move. You missed the bit where i said tribal Yeah I saw that, know it's a wank site, just wondered how anyone could come up with something like that.
  8. Swapping a forward for a right-winger would hardly be a sensible move.
  9. Don't think they were feeling too good about themselves after losing the goal right before the game ended. If I were playing, I wouldn't be feeling happy as well and my thoughts would be regarding the goal, not the fans. I'm sure if they scored earlier, the feelings of the fans and the players wouldn't be so bad. Gutted we didn't win, especially losing a goal right at the death. Regardless of the late goal they still should have acknowleged us.
  10. Aye coach 3 was the last one 2 get there i think, the driver took the long way to birmingham to use up a bit of his time. The whole place is a total shithole went to that St. Andrews Taven or whatever it was called, notice outside saying home fans only, then went to that cricketers pub, probably the worst pub ive ever been to and ive been in some hovvels in my time, there was only one bloke behind the bar so just crossed the road to morrisons to buy some cans as the brummie lot did next to us and brought them back into the bar! Aye The Cricketer's Arms was scruffy as owt like.
  11. On his way to the mackems.
  12. Rooney hasn't been that great this season, by his standards.
  13. Been canny shite so far.
  14. My first impressions of Birmingham weren't great, we passed a load of boarded-up pubs and derelict buildings, everywhere was covered with graffiti aswell, not very welcoming.
  15. The funniest fight between players I have ever seen happened between two players on the same side. ;-)
  16. Apparently police wouldn't release him because he was a minor, they got in touch with his parents but they refused to come and pick him up, so he would have to get a lift back of the Police, with his parents footing the bill. Where were you sitting on the coach? I was near the front mesel, did seem like we were behind everyone else like.
  17. Not an FA Cup game but I have just seen the best football fight possibly ever, Sevilla vs Zaragoza and two fellas having an arguement, eventually one fella gives the other bloke a right hook, which sparks off a full-on fist-fight, awesome stuff.
  18. bluenone.gif Conkered Henry has always had lightning pace.
  19. Just got back, agree with the comments re Pattison - he was very poor today, the simplest of passes were going astray, including one which went out of play with no-one near him. Dyer looked fucked for most of the second half, I thought he was injured at first, he was hardly running at all, apart from for his goal, he should have shot when he had the chance near the end aswell, after Brum's equaliser. Just seen the attendance aswell, 16,444, meaning a quarter of the crowd was taken up by us, canny bad for a an FA Cup 3rd rounf tie against a Premiership side. Heard people mentioning to avoid pubs near the ground as they are rough as fuck, we went to The Cricketer's Arms (as did a lot of toon fans) which was a 5-minute walk from the ground, wasn't hostile or owt at all, was a shit pub though. Just after we got there some old bag lady tried to get in and was forcefully ejected, before wandering about outside the pub, on our way to the ground we then saw her pissing against a wall next to Morrisons' entrance, was bizarre.
  20. Boulahrouz has been terrible like.
