To be where we hoped to be - two quality players in most positions is what you ideally need. But we can't be where we hoped to be, that much is becoming clear. So yes, maybe sell so we can improve where squad is much weaker.

So rather than improve our deficient squad by the 25-26 season, it's more likely we'll need cut back on our squad and probably slash back room staff as well? Jesus christ. Wouldn't be too disappointed if he went to City for £80m or so. PSR doesn't allow us to fix all the other major deficiencies in our squad, so this would go some way to helping. A new ground or extension is many years off (I'm not convinced either will happen personally), and still no sign of major sponsorships, so regularly turning a big profit on player assets is the only way to maintain a challenge for a CL place.

Wouldn't be surprised if true. Rarely starts, we're currently a mid-table team, and we're unlikely to win anything anytime soon. Fans will justifiably be super pissed off though. First he fucks us over with a gambling ban, then he fucks us over on what will probably be a loss on transfer fee. Combined with PSR, that would be a huge blow.

Spurs fans were being twats to happy to see this. Chelsea are back as top 4 regulars, so hopefully they can push on even further and get ahead of Liverpool.

That really stings too tbh. I'll never dislike Howe, and would be very sad to see him sacked even if it's necessary. Really thought he'd be the one to bring us a cup win and regular europe. (yes, I know we're still in both cups - but we're so utterly abysmal we'll 100% wilt against one of the cartel six at Wembley)
