  1. Who you want to win is coming through loud and clear. The bookies obviously supports my view man. I have said it’s f***ing close in all aspects a few hours ago. The bookies have had Trump heavily favoured, Biden heavily favoured and everything in between multiple times over the past 6 hours. Their takes are as useful as yours. The bookies are adjusting the odds base on latest info. My take is based on remaining votes from counties that are red or blue. Of course bookies will get closer and closer to my original take. I dont understand why you guys are that offensive to me

  3. Yeah, cancelled my wedding back in late Spring, and re-organised for same time next year. Thinking even that's in doubt now Probably just have do a private registry affair, then maybe a party late 2021 or early 2022 once we have a vaccine.
  4. I like Barry a lot but know that he, like many other Guardianers, have been very condescending towards Newcastle fans on this topic. What's he said now? The bloke is a complete moron man, how can you have such a reductive outlook on sporting competition when your profession is literally sports journalism? You can essentially distill his argument to - if you're not at the bottom of the football pyramid, you've got nothing to moan about Heaven forbid fans actually have ambitions for their team to be successful His Mackem blinkers heavily inform his contrarian rhetoric and it's so
  5. I'm surprised she's still employed. She accused some kid in intensive care and his father of being Corbyn plants because they criticised Trumpson. Turned out the kid was genuinely ill. No apology. Classy Tory. Is that that awful Telegraph 'journalist'?
  6. Need to close down public transport, shops cafes, pubs etc. Everything except food suppliers. Get it done FFS before its too late.
  7. FFS. Don't see the point. As if private pensions weren't decimated enough. Funding gaps for final salary pensions will also grow again. And contrary to popular belief, home-owners with a mortgage are in a minority.
  8. Just been for a jog around North Shields Fish Quay and Tynemouth, and it's like a busy Saturday afternoon. Hundreds out walking. Carpark to Fish Quay was completely full. Reasonable numbers in cafes too, but that will probably drop off once the seriousness of the pandemic hopefully dawns. Can't imaging how many bars, restaurants and shops we're gonna see boarded up in 8 months time
  9. You're showing after every shite? Couldn't be arsed with that Just a quick squat and spray, surely? Also take off the shower head and hose direct.
  10. Stopped checking mine for my own sanity. Not even sure it will ever recover in time as the damage could last for decades. If people are forced to remain indoors and spend online, changes in consumer behavior may be accelerated and high street shopping plunges. Think we'll see many more boarded up shops in Newcastle in the years ahead.
  11. Evidence emerging from Hong Kong that a number of survivors have suffered extensive tissue damage to lungs and suffer shortness of breath. Out of 12 studied, 3 had lung damage. Hope this damage isn't permanent, otherwise we're facing significant public health crisis for a couple of generations at least. https://www.businessinsider.com/coronavirus-recovery-damage-lung-function-gasping-air-hong-kong-doctors-2020-3?r=US&IR=T
  12. FTSE single day losses into double digits now. Doesn't seem any end in sight! A deep global recession/depression seems inevitable now. Will take many months for the virus to work it's way through the global population.
  13. Pension is taking a battering too Last time I tried to time the market by moving to cash, I lost out. I'd prob be taking around a 7-10% hit if I bail out next week. If 2% of the global population die over the next couple of years though (which no longer seems preposterous), suppose my pension fund is the least of my worries.
  14. Can't get radio coverage on digital and FM, both are Sunderland?!
  15. Actually closer to 60k when you include a pension scheme worth around 25% of salary.
